This is so on point. I had this friend who was trying to eat healthier, which is awesome, would order salads, again great, leave off the croutons and cheese, solid moves, can enhance dishes but not necessarily.. but then get 3 to 4 sides of ranch. Always with Diet Coke or Diet Pepsi of course. Better to leave on the cheese and croutons and just forget the dressing.
That’s so strange to me… bcus salad and veggies are my favorite foods. So much so, that I eat my salads without dressing bcus it takes away from the flavor or the fresh ingredients. Guess everyone is different with different palates. But I def think we train ourselves to have a palate for what we consider food. It’s not “unnatural” for humans to like “leaves and vegetables”. If you eat junk food often you will crave junk food and not like veggies I guess.
