ようこそ日本へ, welcome to Japan, I'd recommend kyoto and kamakura (if you're interested in the traditional buildings), the capsule hotels, net cafes are also nice. You can ask to PewDiePie, dogen etc. bon voyage and goodnight😴 edited: you can apply the asylum if you can be slave to work with paper culture and read the "air", in the one of highest context countries😂 and yeah our countries have nice cars
They have been making superior cars since the 1970's 🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣 not even my favorite car ( the vw beetle!!! (so fun to drive) is better , making Porsche not as good too)
"Everything is better, except the bread. The bread is horrible." As an American who visited less than a month ago, that's literally exactly what I was thinking. They kill every pastry with sugar, even by our standards!
I think egg sandwiches, pork cutlet sandwiches, and curry buns are tasty. A famous youtuber strictly dumpling also said that the egg sandwich he had at a convenience store in Japan was the best bread he had ever tasted. Japanese breads are so different from other breads that many people who try it for the first time don't like it.
I've heard Japanese construction projects are finished by the time Germans need to set up the construction site... maybe even faster if the German construction company has to apply for a Baugenehmigung first.
I didn't know you visited Japan again! I actually learned quite a bit about what it's like for foreigners to live in Japan from your earlier videos! Great content as always!
00:42 "They're eating the German shephards?" 02:54 "I thought these people are civilised..." And your constant robotophobia enhanced by the deer (Oh, dear) Rofl! You totally made my day!🍒
I've been watching your videos for few years and I am glad you finally visited my home country and observing funny way of culture differences. I will probably feel the same when I visit Berlin and notice something funny. lol
The sink above the toilet is genius! I studied Energy and Environmental Engineering and when I saw this on my trip to Japan I was mindblown.. how come we in europe that care so much about the environment do not have this implemented!? Espacially with all these water shortages
All these electronic schnickschnack is possible in a country with save energie politic, not in a 3rd worl country like germany. Toiletts with power functions-lol.
@@Mondlunar naa not really. I'm portuguese (country in Europe with the hottest climate) and I've never seen those but I'd like to see it more! Definitely going to have this system if I ever get to build my own house there
Where in the world is "all glitter"? In Dubai, Quatar haha, in Monaco or Beverly Hills...no way. But in a Vergleich comparison with germany, evry normal state, is "all glitter". Believe me.@@CyAn-S germany is in falling down, by german politics who serve usa.
3 Wochen Japan-Rundreise. Bester Urlaub ever. Japaner sind einfach cool und unterhalten sich mit Händen und Füßen wenn es sein muss. Kulturschock, den man erlebt haben muss.
I’m Pennsylvania Dutch. My dad made kartoffelsalat with pickled beets and pork schnitzel last Sunday. I tasted it and said “Dad! We had this schnitzel at a Japanese restaurant, but they called it Tonkatsu. Yours is better.” And it was incredible! So funny you noticed the similarity, too! 😂
I really got the point when paying at the restaurant, since I came to Europe I have totally no idea why people should wait for the waiter to pay. Sometimes they don't even give a damn care on you and leave you waiting for 10 minutes. In Asia, people simply pay at the counter.
Ever since I started watching your videos few months ago, I am liking your videos even more. As a Japanese, this one is funny and I can understand how Germans feel about some things in Japan, even though I never been to Germany. I wish I can visit Germany in the future.
Been to Japan once for 3 weeks. After I landed in Düsseldorf after my flight back to Germany I instantly wanted to crawl back to the airplane and fly to Japan again. Next year I'll do my next trip.
@@CyAn-S I know. A good friend of mine (really a high performer by my countries' standards) was sent there by his company to work there for 6 months. He said it was an interesting but utterly exhausting experience. Basically working all day, go drinking with the boss and/or colleagues after work (but still talking about work), go home to sleep for 4 hours, rinse and repeat. As much as I love the country, I couldn't do it. That's why I rather go there on my free time. ^^"
@@CyAn-S It is. That's what makes it especially frustrating for Germans to work there We're more about efficiency than simply "being there until our boss finally decides to leave".
@@RadicalLiving I ate japanese rice dumplings in Zürich ... i would prefer this kind of food instead of German bread everytime. But i love our bio black bread as well.
I just found you and just subbed. I love your videos. The best ever. Just one complaint, and it's a very big one that you need to rectify ASAP: your videos are too short. They need to be longer, much, much longer. Hours and hours longer … days … even months. They're that good, so you have no one to blame but yourself. You shouldn't have made them so enjoyable.
When I lived in Japan, going to the “French” bakery where the breads were decorated with corn, mayonnaise, and seaweed was always a blast. They get very upset over the USA’s California and Philadelphia sushi rolls though because THAT IS NOT PROPER SUSHI!!!
@@Quotenwagnerianer Some people enjoy it. Good for them. I think we shouldn't limit food to what is traditional. We could stumble on something really great on the way.
@@lpschaf8943 Because that specific variant was invented in Germany by a turkish guy. So he had all the cultural license to do so. But to slap seeweed on bread and call that "french" is just an insult.
I recall when visited Japan 6 months ago and when got the chance my japanese friends from Twitter, and visited the temples they were insisting me that manji had another meaning besides the one from the west, hahaha it's was kinda funny cause they thought I'd be pointing every japanese as a na*i . That's why learning Japanese has been an important tool for me
You have to try the Red bean paste desserts from the kombinis. It is the think I miss the most (and heated toilet seats...) from Japan. I bought at at least every second day 😂
your videos are brilliant. i lived in heidelberg and have visited germany many times. your observations are spot on. your fashion is stylish, and the commentary is authentic yet very witty. i like abroad in japan and oui in france. keep up the great work.
The German bakery in Japan remindet me of the German bakery in India, Pune. 😂 But that one had at least some kind of black forest cake and 2 breads you might find in Germany too.
I really don't wanna be that person, but...to any future Japan travelers, if you can, better drop the animal cafe experience and do something else that's fun. Japan is notorious for mistreating animals and animal cafes are the epitome of that. There are multiple articles on the internet about it if you want to read up (Some examples of what happens: Animals are fed appropriately, they're not given enclosures to withdraw into, they get "disposed" of when they're not cute anymore - Same happens in the animals shops btw). In bigger cities there are a couple cafes that treat the animals well and only take in strays that you can adopt straight from the cafe, if you really insist to go. But animals such as owls just shouldn't be in environments like this.
Don't think of Japan as just another country in Asia. Japan is another planet with a civilization different from any other country on Earth. Of course, they have a society that is decades ahead of ours.😂
We eat Spaghetti on bread as a sandwich here in the Philippines and I don't think it has something to do with being civilized, it's not like we're eating sht 😅
Productive, efficient, innovative, design and engineering focussed workaholics that love cars and cameras - Germans and Japanese are like the same people but on two different continents.
Hilarious. Love to see the German perspective on Japan considering the similar cultures of efficiency, engineering, sleek designs and technological innovation. Do more of these please.
I miss japanese strawberry sandwiches... Honestly it is much cleaner, quieter, service is godly, you see what you get beforehand, toilet's are great and free, public transport is heaven, as is the food. The only thing I disliked was the drinking water, as I am not used to the different taste and smell.
@@kaeltkottmir funfact is that mayority of Chinese People dont even know about this system and mostly dont affect them. its mostly applied to people that earn more than average money actually. It is like our Schufa, literally designed to be like it. Also it just rolled out for some big citys, not globally in china. I Work there mostly every year for about an quarter of the year, well except when Covid happened. I will go again in August for 4 months and im excited. Its such a great country which has insane infrastructure and technological advances that u will never see here in Germany sadly. That goes ofc only for Tier 1 and 2 citys/regions.
I am German and was in Japan for 1 month travelling. Except the toilette, bread and the confusing over this super friendly deers I did nothing of that. But funny to watch :D
Love the series, I wish you'd visit slavic countries some day, Not Russia, but at least an eastern Europe country - Poland, Slovakia or maybe Balkans 💪
MANJI is the most popular hieroglyph in Japan, it is the most ancient (well-known and historically used by Asians, Arabs, Africans, Hindu, Europeans, and Native Americans) and the best symbol on Earth! It must be restored worldwide.
In the whole South, not just some places, we use bidet and we take our shoes out before enter indoors but the North Europeans are still a bit primitive with hygiene 😂😂😂
