Thank you so much sir.🙏 #Streak5 Ramesh Chandra Majumdar (a famous historian) said about 1857 revolt that "The so- called First National War of Independence is neither 'First', nor 'National', nor 'a War of Independence'." Yet many historians call it the first war of independence because the entire nation came together to stage protest against the Britishers ( whether common people or the king and his associates) .The revolt of 1857 was not limited to a specific region of India.
