When Persona 3 Reload Mass Destructs "Mass Destruction"... 

I dont think Mass Destruction suits her singing style, yet with Its Going Down Now, she absolutely _slays_

I like reload's version quite a lot myself but mass destruction just has that 2000's charm

Honestly the issue with the new version isn’t even that it’s bad. It’s just up against probably one of the most iconic battle themes in gaming history. It’s insanely hard to top perfection and the fact I can say it’s close enough to the original is a compliment in it of itself. There’s really nothing they could’ve done that would make it better than the original theme in a lot of people’s eyes.

I personally think the new singer is good, but this version out of the many other versions of mass destruction feels almost forced on the pronounciation during the chorus. I kinda hope at least what they could do realistically, is perhaps rerecord and make tweaks depending if everyone is in agreement.

She clearly was doing her best but wasn’t stronger enough in Mass Destruction. Still, she did amazingly in It’s Going Down Now.

The vocalist in the og version just sounds a lot more into it than the reload ver.

I dont have an issue with the "Da's" its the second baby, im so used to the "E" sound sounding like an "Eh":Babeh Babeh instead of Baby Baby (I tried to explain it best I could)😅

The Baby,baby is the the highlight of the song that make it memorable,pity they ruined it. It always bring intense during battle,but the Reload made it to soft.

Ah, now I know why despite liking the new mass destruction, it feels kind of off to me. The original sounds more upbeat and louder. Reload has it's own style, but I'm going to miss the original.

I generally hope theres an option or costume with og music like a costume which is just the og p3 models (like the ps2 models) with the og mass destruction it would be a pretty unique and fun costume similar to the persona q outfits in p5r

Big brain idea: a mashup

they took out the thing that made persona music, persona music which is more engrish. its down-down-down-down rather than dadadada, so her putting more emphasis into her da's just makes it sound different as well as the baby. that and whenever she does say baby it sort of goes downward in tune while she seems to struggle keeping into one line when she goes up with the dadadada. Not to mention the "nerfed" the beat drop which was always the most replayed part, the harmony between the vocals, the piano and trumpets made it so beautiful and unique.

PREACH! As a fan who played 3 and 4 very much to the point of 100 completion on Playstation 2 I wouldn't want to fix what isn't broken. I'm enjoying Reload but when I heard Takahashi Azumi-san's vocals in Mass Destruction I thought both "why?" and "Where's Kawamura Yumi?!"

The Og Mass destruction is just nostalgic with that vocal XD

she has a pretty voice, its just a little too enunciated and the instrumentals feel low energy in comparison. honestly the only reason im hesitant about reload is because i fear its polishing of the ogs is ripping from its 2000s flare, and im not only talking about the music. idk thats just my take >_>

Reload Mass Destruction reminds me of how I felt with the Ultimate Remix of Xenoblade 2s Counterattack. Its a banger but its missing something the OG had.

For any bleach fans in the audience, the new one is the equivalent of hearing BANKAI instead of BAN.... KAI! Like its still good, its just not the same VIBE to it. It still sounds amazing, but hearing DADADADADADADADA BABY BABY and not DAUDAUDAUDAUDAUDAUDAUDAUDAUDAU BABEEH BABEEH just messes up the whole vibe.

It's the punch of the voice. All of the voice work in the game IS very well done but things some things that needed that punch are lacking. However, there's so many improvements across the board in the voice department too so, I hesitate to say it's a complete setback. I have mixed feelings to say the least.
