my favorite part of monster hunter is when john hunter went "its monster hunting time" and kickflipped off of castle schrade landing on the dragonator lever and penetrating fatalis, truly a monster hunter experience.
….. as much as I want to say how weird is seeing a Hunter shred on a skateboard, It still 100% accurate how much of a buff PROOF OF A HERO is when it starts playing …. 😅
nah he needed it for the • ShreddingUp [Large] (gemmed 2x Trickster Jewel+ to get the Large bonus) • The Art Of Balance (armor skill) • Unscratched +1 (either gem 4x Anti-ScratchJewel for the +2 bonus or give it up to eliminate the negative skill) • -20 Socialization (gem 4x FrndlyTalntJewel if you want but if you don't care about friends then just get the +2 Unscratched) [TIP FROM A VETERAN] If your deck has a 2 or 3 slots you can gem up Unposing Jewel to get PoserInsultDown, very helpful to reduce other hunters slamming you for wearing a full Rath with a Narga deck
I will never get over the fact that Monster Hunter's most triumphant and motivational track is effectively "Barely Legally Distinct Superman Theme" and they got away with it.
Dude, my first time hearing Proof of a Hero back on PSP I couldn't unhear Star Wars or Superman theme. It took me months of playing until the differences finally snapped.
When the Hunter had finally finally hunted every kind of monster and no other challenges remained, he settled for catching monster air on his board instead.
Admittedly I'm a Fiver, always played MH based games like Ragnarok Odyssey, God Eater and to an extent(?) Dragon's Dogma. When a buddy of mine bought World, I was in a dark spot in my life and I just wanted something that felt routine to past the time. 3k hours later, a platinum trophy and an unhealthy love of fighting Fatalis later. I still love the game. I just feel harmless jealousy that people were into the franchise way earlier, enjoying the long time stories and perks.
@@mr.nergigante440 Good luck broski, the game is pretty streamlined so a lot of the issues you had to deal with got circumvented into a comfortable process.
“Oh no! There’s an ancient behemoth of a creature on its way to destroy our very way of life! Not even our most veteran of hunters can stop it!” Some bumpkin who got his hunting license last week:
Upon the ruins of castle skrate the hunter shredded over the black dragon fatalis, once more saving the world from the dragons rage, but setting in motion another cycle of it after he used the dragons scales to forge a new sick deck.
I always remember using this song to time my first ballista shots in the Lao Shan fights from the first Freedom game. There was something very fitting about loosing a ballista right when you heard those trumpets.
It is factual that hunters gain a sudden proficiency in anything they do when Proof of a Hero kicks in. ESPECIALLY if it occurs after the usage of a large, machine-powered spear.
Now Hunter. This board is made of the finest parts of the rathalos. The wheels forged from the bones of the aberrant devilJoe. The bolts and screws made from lesser wyverns. And this decal, I could never tell you where it's from. Go now and shred
