When Prophets Tap Into Sorcery 

People are obsessed with getting prophetic words as well, even to the point of chasing words. I’ve seen this myself in the church. It’s sad. People need to study and mediate on Gods word. Repenting and being led by Gods word not man’s word. Being a true follower of Christ.

Remember, There’s a difference between the gift of prophecy and the office of a prophet!

"I believe a whole wave of humility needs to hit the body of Christ." Now THAT is absolute PROFOUND TRUTH in this last great day and hour!!! God help us to REPENT!!!

Your source is always the Bible and through relationship with God! Listening to endless prophetic words can result in you being tossed to and fro. Resulting in a what the Bible says that a man who is unstable in all his ways will be tossed to and fro like the waves of the sea. Will create worry and confusion and depression.

This happens when people idolize the prophecy and prophet instead of the God of the prophet and prophecy. They have become lazy to study the Word to weed out what is real or what is false. Plus people need to be taught how to judge prophecy and test the spirit that gave the prophecy.

the pressure to perform comes from the TITLE PROPHET!! I heard a video recently of a message given by John Paul Jackson about 8-10 yrs ago and one of the first things he said is "I do not consider myself a prophet".

To me, some are reading off their prophecies daily like a forecast of upcoming events. One of which I personally knew was prophesied from events done a day or two before the date the person said the Lord gave it to them. People look to people for a word from the Lord far too often rather than seeking the word from the Word of God and the still small voice that all who are believer’s in Jesus Christ should increase within their own daily walk with Him

This was wonderful, the lord has ministered to me about the obsession of prophetic words instead of personal time with him. Testing the word, is it self, or is it God led. I do Christian content and I’ve learned to say to Jesus I don’t need to be seen. That’s the wrong motive. The love of God should want to be time with him, not the next time we have a word to be seen.

Yes I know people who chase people for a prophetic word instead of getting closer and deeper with God themselves

It takes the Holy Spirit to "sift" through a word. Its the gift of discernment of spirit which will bear witness with your spirit whether what is being said is truth. He is the one who "leads us into all truth". Its part of his ministry!

I'm disappointed that this took a turn to talking about President Trump. Many "prophetic voices" have gotten it wrong about President Trump. There is much happening behind the scenes that even non-believers can discern. It's quite sad and embarrassing that even non-believers are discerning what the "prophetic voices" are not discerning. The Western church is truly being weighed in the balance and found wanting. People who have said things about President Trump's character will be repenting for believing the media and leaning on their own understanding.

There is a certain prophet who puts out a prophecy everyday, now whether he is true or not I don’t know, but I have stopped watching him. Also I am on a Telegram Channel, where people talk about different prophets they listen to and isn’t 1-2 it is a lot!! I live across the pond, if American Christians don’t wake up soon and get into their Bibles and put God first, I hate to think what will become of America.

I do not Claim be a prophet , but I have the gift of "Seeing" under certain times of anointing. I don't do anything on my own self will , my own greedy ambitions. The Bible says he that comes to God must first deny himself . I came from a black Samaritan witchcraft Masonic order, but Jesus Yeshua saved me. Before I became born again we studied these type of prophets already, and they were purposely sent into the church from the Dark Side. Tens of millions Demons were sent into churches to undermine it from the inside out. The Kundalini spirit is running rampant throughout a lot of churches and most people think it's God but it is not, rathet it's the serpent. This is because most so-called Christians are not actually saved. Yeshua Jesus said If any man come after me let him first deny himself, pick up his cross and follow him to Calvary. This is where you'll lose approximately 90% of so-called Christians. Many were called but few were chosen.

I feel the same way. This fame nonsense leads to trying to keep the fame. Is all ridiculous.

This issue is not only the prophets issue but this is the body of Christ issue of chasing afterwards chasing after words causes the gifted person to feel pressed to constantly give those words and some fall and do it. So the body of Christ needs to mature up also stop chasing after man to get a word from God and go after God yourself if you have a relationship with the Lord like you should then the people she mentioned you wouldn't have even listened to I know from day one I have not been able to listen to either one of those gentlemen she mentioned. And I always gave myself a hard time constantly telling myself I shouldn't so easily pushed away from God's children so I took it upon myself that it was just me but bottom line I still could not listen to them and of course all these years later now we know why. So give the holy Spirit a chance to lead and guide you
