This is how everyone should treat her. Like she matters, with respect, love and kindness. She's not "scary" for goodness sake. So sick of ppl saying the same trash n reacting like she is some extraterrestrial form of a what a korean woman should be.
This is why I like their relationship. Jaesuk isn't afraid to play along with Jessi and isn't offended whenever she say something. The fact he is open to her made things seem comfortable for her.

On a serious note though they don't see that they are part of the problem feeding into the lookism/racism/sexism notion in Korea. Young kids will watch this and do the same to their classmates who are either biracial or Korean American/african. Even adults at their work space will do the same. They think its a joke but it hurts these ppl n can lead to suicide and other terrible things. Its getting worse by the day. I see some of the cast members like kwang soo oppa and jong kook oppa trying now but still.... It ain't enough. I love Jessi for her. The look on the other female guests faces make me laugh sooooo hard like wtf is she doing oh my gosh! I'm like 'hey girl lighten the heck up or go suck an egg, if everyone was like you or one way there won't be diversity in the world end off! . Jessie is such a gem besides her talent. I hope she finds someone who adores her. Don't get me started on the other male guests...I'm out!
The fact that Jessi said they don't get along with each other, what she actually meant is that they really do and they're like Tom and Jerry lmao. They're so playful, teases each other a lot, and are always straightforward with each other like old siblings. 😂

Jessi is like a mix of Hyori and Daesung. She can control Jaesuk like Hyori but connects with him on a "dumb and dumber" level like Daesung. I need these four on a show so badly. lol
When Jessi suddenly shut Jaesuk up mid sentence tho, he was shocked. Imagine how Kwangsoo feels every single time Jaesuk shut him up in every episode during the intro

This is why YJS is the best host. He knows exactly how to interact with each guest to get the best out of them. He helps Jessi’s raw cuteness really shine. I’ve become her fan through programs like this.
He did say that Jessi was the sole reason why his English got better as there's no way that he can communicate with her using Korean properly and English was the way to go. Also, in Showterview, Jessi also admitted that due to Jaesuk and from a spark comment where Jaesuk told her that she'll excel in understanding Korean one day and might even be a host of a program, she did Showterview and in return did get better in understanding and conversing in Korean.

@@iseoma People watching the shows can see with their own eyes she has a very cute and clueless side too. Don't think everything has a bad intention. On the contrary, her strong image in her songs is in contrast with how she acts on these shows. That's where the comedy is. They are not making fun of her to paint in her in a bad light, but Yoo Jae Suk makes her his comedic partner because they have great chemistry.
Running man members are very good at making their guest feels comfortable and confident everytime they appeared in the show...thats why I really like this show from the beginning

YJS is so nice and kind. He understood Jessi. He did not take offend when Jessi talked back, cut him off, or said inappropriate things. He accepted that it was her personality and she was a nice and sweet person despite coming across as harsh and rude by Korean standard.
After Jaesuk and Hyori’s nation siblings relationship, this is by far my favourite pair yet. They are so fun together! It’s been awhile since jaesuk showing this personality. Also now nation sibling is back I’m so happy ❤️

I think Jessi has changed a lot since she met Jaesuk. I remember she said that spending time with Jaesuk makes her want to be a better person because Jaesuk is a kind and good person.

Usually, when people say they “keep it real”, it’s just an excuse for being cruel. With Jessie, I think it’s pretty accurate. She says what she’s thinking, but not to be spiteful.

Woa when both of them are together, i just felt my mouth is rip from laughing. They are crazily hilarious. I've watched all of Sixth Sense and Jessi and Jae Suk are both sooo funny. Wish they take Jessi more on their variety shows. Love her wits!
They're both savvy, so despite their protestations, they know how their conflict makes for great comedy and the producers and rest of the cast knows that too and will try to make that happen even if they seem to be resisting it.
Their chemistry on sixth sense is also great! Jessi is super caring to jaesuk there, and they’re always together, ypu can clearly see that they always bicker but they have fun when together🥰❤️
