Ravel is a magician

First time I heard this concerto on the radio 40 years ago or so I'd joined halfway through...heard the cadenza and at the end thought "Wow, this is a difficult concerto [for two hands]". Couldn't believe it when the announcer said "That was Ravel's PC for LEFT hand"! It's remarkable writing and great fun to [try to] play.
