I mentioned Stanway because her increasingly tough tackling could affect England's chances. She is by no means the only one who does it.

In our football, the only person authorized to use his hands is the goalkeeper, and only in the penalty area. We play with our feet. Your ball is oblong, it is not a ball. A ball, by definition, must be spherical. Our ball is a perfect sphere. Your sport should be called armored rugby, not football.

@@strikebr Actually, football does. Every player is on his feet every single play. A player leaving his feet/falling ends most plays, too. Most drives begin and end with a kick of some sort. No ball is a perfect sphere. Perfect spheres don't have a bunch of patches all over them like soccer balls. The shape of a football or rugby ball makes the game more interesting because every bounce isn't totally uniform and predictable in real time. All 3 sports came out of a common sport. Association football (soccer) and rugby football.(rugby and football) splintered off. Rugby is significantly different than American football, too. Canadian football has some distinct rules, as well.

@@davidjames6021 I don't know where you live, but where I do soccer is advertised as the safest sport for kids as it's non-contact, as in, no tackles like there are in either rugby code, AFL or gridiron. If soccer is a full contact sport where you live, please post a vid showing the correct tackling style. And not that "He ran within 3 feet of me, I'm going down screaming cos he messed my hair up" fake stuff soccer players love to indulge in. Thanks.

The crying is why I can't watch. I broke my fucking ankle on the field in an amateur game (not quite Jordan Travis level, but his injury speaks to the point), and I just kinda rolled on my back and said "I'm done." I've been spiked in the quad like 2:20 and walked it off. "Oh but these are women" you might say - sure, I've seen my wife give birth to two 8+ lb. kids, and she didn't cry. She didn't take it straight-faced mind, but she didn't wallow and cry like a sissy. These are professional athletes, but they act like they've never experienced pain before. They look like infants.
