I scrolled across scene 1 and had to find the rest and found the whole movie. Didn’t expect to enjoy it this much but this was extremely entertaining. Loved how you captured the girl’s initial reaction as a defensive mechanism. How a man’s honesty and kindness will breaks down walls. That first scene definitely needed context in this day and age. When you meet a soul-mate, there are no words to describe the feeling. Some people will NEVER get to experience that cause they put sex first. So, after sex you're stuck with a mate that has an attitude that you adapt to cause the sex was good. This is why so many relationships FAIL. I enjoyed the movie. It shows how a man will focus on who he wants, and not what he wants. There’s a difference. He had good intentions, and he made sure to show that he was interested and willing to learn with full focus on her. Love that she to learned something as well. Never put materialistic object’s and monetary before respect.
Shout out to Amari and cousin Courtney! Ya'll did yah thang with this movie. Ya'll captured to true essence of black culture, and the vibe of the average black young male and female navigating thier way though the many misconceptions and pitfalls of building a deep meaningful relationship that's purpiseful and is built to last. At first, I though that this was a video short, because I remember seeing the opening part before. Ya'll acting is on point and doesn't appear to be fake or forced. I enjoy the fact that, Amari and Coery played two brothers that are vulnerable, as we sometimes are, without attempting to cut and paste those extrwme sterotypes of black male figures that Hollywierd is always pushing in our community and to the world.
