Hey guys!!
So season 2 ended with the BEST FINALE !! The Agreste plot got really better and we got to see the true power of the peacock miraculous (and how dangerous is it to use it)
So in celebration of the second season (and the new toy story movie!) I made an Agreste animatic! This animatic is showing the history of the couple and emilie’s death from Gabriel’s POV (not canon tho).
Feel free to see this animatic as a sequel animatic to ‘It’s over isn’t it’ but from another POV. ((Now the only one missing is Emilie skbfkdka)))

Watched the dub on cartoon crazy and it is confirmed. Warning SPOILERS Natalie used it when they were about to lose and Hawkmoth got very upset, told Natalie it was dangerous. And most importantly she coughed right after using it! That’s proof something is up with the Peacock miraculous!

Well, the miraculous was broken when Nathalie used it and it must’ve been broken when Emilie (Mrs. Agreste) was using it. Theoretically speaking, when a miraculous breaks is when there are perhaps some side effects when using it, such as illnesses and in some extreme cases, death (or a coma). There is evidence present within the Mayura episode when Gabriel carries Nathalie to the chair because of how weak she became after using the peacock miraculous. Gabriel, within a worried tone, tells Nathalie to never use the peacock miraculous because it’s broken, possibly suggesting that she may end up in the same condition as his wife if she continued to use it.

I think your on the right track with how she died...I think maybe in a fight the miraculous got damaged and Emilie kept using it and that's how she died...just like in mayura Nathalie was coughing and looked rough after she used it. But if u see in this way,you must remember that when he kicked adrien on Eiffel Tower ,adrien was cat noir (the cat ring is the one of the most powerful miraculous),so Gabriel knews that it will hurt his son a little bit not much.I think thats why Gabriel did that.

I have sympathy and empathy for Gabriel but I don't justify or forgive him for his actions. Love is no reason to hurt others and cause evil. I still hate him for putting his son at risk several times and trying to steal. You can't cheat death, and he may soon find that out

Being angry about his character is reasonable, but I feel like we should just think about his back story too before calling him out on blind. He is a very complicated character, and that’s a wonderful thing for a good plot.

I honestly don’t think he ever wanted to bring any of the people he’s turned into villains to harm. He’s just so blinded by the idea that using the miraculous to bring back Emilie will make everything alright in the end that he disregards everything he should still hold so dear, like Adrien. I can understand that losing the one true love of your life can really break someone but, them being gone should never be what you obsess over for what remains of your time on this Earth. I think being with the people that are still alive only becomes more important because it gave meaning to both your life and theirs. Sorry, I know this is longer than what I wanted to write but, I just had to get this out in writing.

But I never really shipped emilie and gaberial and I think emilie thought she was still in a movie. But than woke up seeing she is really married to gaberial, Andre and Audrey burgious think emilie and gaberial make a lovely couple. But they are wrong they looked down on nathalie saying she is ugly when she is more beautiful than emilie and Audrey. I don't think emilie made gaberial happy, if you think about it adrein mentioned his whole life he just had to play with Chloe and felix, he was always homeschooled. When emilie mentioned to put adrein into a public school he never listened to her. But when nathalie mentions it he listens these Tiny bits show that gaberials true love he truly loves nathalie not emilei

I don't think the agreste was never happy family, the only happiness gaberial had was seeing nathalie everyday at work going secretly to nathalies house just to see her I bet if nathalie or nathalies father written nathaloe was sick he mentioned to the good physician to go and heal her. And when she was healed he would see her and thank God for not taking nathalie. Emilie using the peacock miracolous was to show off and do it for acting because she thinks it's cool But nathalie using it is to save emilie angaberial giving up her happiness

Mickey Moo you actually made me checking out the origins episode!! It feels like Gabriel is making sure with nuuru the abilities and powers of his miraculous rather than speaking for the first time (at least for me) but maybe you’re right!! I’ll have to learn more about it to make future animatics more accurate and story based. Thank you for noting this out!

In the episode where he explains the wish he said that if the lil robot had wished to become a human, someone else would have lost their humanity. So a life for a life sounds likely and I don't think Adrien would want that kind of blood on his or his father's hands even for the life of his own mother.
