Game suggestions: 1. Achievements + rewards 2. Battle with friends 3. Make the events more rewarding. Not just a 100 credits for a week long event. 4. Different game modes like ranked and unranked where you can test other decks 5. And lastly, i know this is a CCG, but imagine if you can trade card variants with other people
@@robbiecgaming hey Robbie, I'm currently showing 5,475 (blue) credits. I thought this was capped at 5,000. Has something changed? edit: found on another site that it's been bumped from 2k (originally) to 5k and now to 10k.
Imo, go pool 3 when next season starts. The game starts to go stale when you just stay on lower pools. Fun cards and more deck variance are in pool 3. I guess I just prefer fun(+card bling) over rank.
I disagree with this idea of hanging out in a lower pool. I think the game suffers for it. Plus you start facing players with pool 3 cards as your rank gets higher anyway. Better to have fun unlocking cards and learn how to play against the pool 3 cards you’re going to have to face anyway.
I agree with you. I am still in series 2 and the last series 2 card I have left to unlock is ebony maw. Unfortunately I've been facing players with Wong and a few other cards not in series 2.
Dang I really enjoyed this video. But you haven't uploaded in a while. I hope you're doing well. I just started playing this game and would love to see more!
Has this changed since the beginning? I'm at rank 35 and collection 150. I just started playing so I'm not intentionally trying to stay in pool one right now. I just faced a few players where I saw more new cards for the first time. Someone had mojo, then I see that it's pool three. If I'm facing pool three cards already I don't think matchmaking is anything more than my rank...
Do you only face people in the same pool as you? Isn't it mainly based on an elo-like rating? I don't remember the details of his video very well, but Jeff Hoogland advised against keeping your collection level down and that the matchmaking isn't determined by pools was his main argument iirc.
Thanks for the tip! I started to play snap this sunday and got to diamond already thanks to your advices (i'm experienced on card games). I didn't know that matches were paired made considering this pool lvl. Gona keep it in mind since i'm at 157 at this point, but i still have a question about exactly when the game start to consider me a pool 2 player. Is it based on when a claim the rewards on collection lvl or just reach it? Also in between lvl 214 and 222 there's a non-card prize can I claim/reach it and keep on pool 1? Thanks for the amazing work, keep it up!
Hey man friendly advice, when there are cuts in the video the music also jumps which sounds kinda weird. I don't know how difficult it is to edit the background music but I just wanted to help. Great videos man
I’m near the top of pool two at this point but I’m stuck at gold rank. I’ll go on runs of wins to get me to the edge of going up but then I’ll start losing so many games in a row that I end up back where I started.
The most strategic place I feel like to climb is certainly the top of Pool two, so I’d suggest chilling there for a bit, especially through the end of the season!
Onslaught says "Ongoing: Double your other Ongoing effects at this location." Now, Citadel doubles it, so we have 2 Onslaughts. 2 Onslaughts means 4 Iron man, which means 8 Iron man thanks to the location. You can see it with how much Mr Fantastic gives to the side lanes, it's 8*2=16, checks out. Now, Iron man says doubles, so you effectively go 2*2*2*2*2*2*2*2 = 2^8 = 256. 2304/256=9, checks out
Today my opponent pulled a Gambit on turn 3 without any random card addition like agent 13 or location, it was upgraded to animated. Im in pool 2 and this card was pool 3 how this is possible ?
That is super interesting! I am honestly not too sure! That seems improbable? But newer game I’m sure some matchmaking bugs like that will happen occasionally!
@@robbiecgaming apparently there is an underlying MMR in addition to the collection level. So your opponent is not purely decided by your collection level. I've been facing collection level 3 fairly often despite being only at pool 2.
Your advice on hanging out in a lower pool is incorrect. Your MMR is the most important factor in determining who you face. You WILL face cards of higher pools if you are stomping
Fair take on a take, although not sure if that’s a direct quote? I think people certainly adapt to strategy games at different rates, for example I’ve had conversations with multiple global launch players who appear to have a pretty incredible mastery of pool 1 and seem to be rocking their opponents? 🤷♂️most beta players I’d hope aren’t takin that route!
In both Magic and HS, in every game where there is ladder and it's a matter of numbers people always play aggro, get to where they cannot drop, and then start memeing. It's inevitable, the progression system in Snap is well-thought but willing players can optimize the fun out of the game no matter what. That's just the day and age we're living in, it's mostly a thing for f2ps and some would squeeze their mother to get every resource they can. Definitely possible to play it fair, and to be honest it remains to be seen how much pool is accounted for when talking about final MMR since camping at thresholds could be very dangerous, but in the end you have to choose whether you prefer spending less time in order to play different stuff or earn an invisible achievement and be the hero nobody cares for. The f2p design models are made in a way to incentivize people to spend, not to offer a service. Maybe Snap is light on that, future will tell anyways, but it's only natural for smart people to say fck you, no matter the quality of the product. Part of the appeal of playing as f2p, if you ask many, is to create a secondary sub-game of resource optimization to see how close they can get to spenders
been playing the dino deck in pool 1 and destroying people everytime. then when i had enough to go into pool 2 i was super excited cause i thought "new CARDS!!!!" and then as soon as i drew Morbius and realized itll be anther 8 collection levels until the next card, i was thinking "this was a mistake, i shouldve saved up before going into pool 2." welp im still winning with my pool 1 dino deck but not as much and a little sad but still havin fun. moral of the story, Robbie needs to do better with his videos so he couldve warned me with this video. smh 😄
