I pulled Kafka because I said "I have SW so might as well" and she's almost never used since her debut banner. I pulled Sparkle and Ruan Mei and they keep popping up in several teams. Basically what you said. Pick a DPS or two (2-4 really since you need 2 teams) and stick with them, then pull for supports if they either have sinergy with them and/or can have general use in any team.

I didn’t pull Acheron I pull aventurine because gamble equals funny and boothill will be pulled because space cowboy it’s not always about meta

I skipped on silver wolf and fu xuan for not having enough pulls, I'm saving up for their re run, unless i see i character i like and not holding the urge to pull for them
