OMG you started the video with the GODESS Yasmeen Ghauri. I am floored honey. I stayed Botox at 28 and Sculptra at 35. I am 50 and I have not aged a day. Seriously I look 20 years younger. Also vegetables, exercise and sunblock. I am a porcelain doll.

Yes Yasmeen is quite beautiful. Thanks for sharing your story! So good to hear you haven’t aged much. I have the same story. Started Sculptra over 10 years ago and it’s like I just don’t age. Botox of course helps too! Filler sparingly. Exercise and staying fit is soooooo important! All great points 👍

I just turned 34 and had Sculptra done after noticing smile lines starting to form due to loss of volume in my cheeks. And my skin didn't seem to have the same elasticity it used to. Even after just one vial, the extra volume from the collagen in my cheeks and temples has noticeably lifted my features and tightened my skin. My smile lines are pretty much gone and my skin has a healthy plumpness and glow to it again. My jawline appears more defined again too. People have always assumed I am younger than I am, partially because I have a small build. Most people guess that I'm in my early 20's. I love the results from the Sculptra and am going to follow up with another one or two vials. I prefer the idea of tackling the effects of aging early on, rather than letting it go too far and then needing major work done. As the saying goes, "an ounce of prevention is worth a pound of cure".

I would recommend going to a Plastic surgeon that injects Sculptra with cannulas rather than needles. The results are so different.

Turning 31 soon, and by all the comments, it sounds like this may be a good time to consider it. 30 was cool, but from 30 to 31 even, I've noticed more volume loss and some prejowl action. I'd like to get on top of this, and my worst fear is injecting and then experiencing sagging or migration from it and overfilling the bottom half of my face.

I was very satisfied with my Face until 53, then suddenly it seemed like I started to age. -Sculptra is a miraculous product. It’s astounding to me that people opt for fillers for immediate gratification over the long term, lasting and natural looking results of Sculptra.

I had never heard of Sculptra until recently but, at 56 and being naturally lean and athletic, I feel like the sinking has hit my face like a ton of bricks in what seems like six months. My Medi-spa doctor recently recommended it to me using a strategic approach that may include a bit of HA filler in a couple of small areas. I can’t wait to have it done, hopefully within the next six months. I have really appreciated your videos on this topic and find they’re the most thorough I have come across.

Hi Emily, it seems like quite a lot of things can be used to improve skin quality and volume loss on all parts of the face except the under eyes. Sculptra cannot be use there. But the skin there is the thinniest and prone to ageing. Do you reckon procedures such as PRP or PRF or regular microneedling under the eyes can actually thicken skin and improve elasticity? :)

Just had my first 2 vials of Scupltra three days ago. I'm in my 40s but lost 80lbs over the last year and my face was looking haggard. I'm hoping this will restore some of the volume without having to go the filler route.

Great analysis. Loved that you used Cameron Diaz, since i am always compared to her. She is also around my age. And she was aging kind of not well, but rečently i see that she looks kind of younger, maybe she did some sculptra 🤔. Well i definitely planning to do some treatments starting next year. Watching various videos, and putting my plan together. I envy to women who are truly happy aging naturally, i just cant. My body stil in great shape, as i was in 30’s and in my heart i did not aged at all, so need to level up, the face, even if i skip all the shopping, after all anothet Chanel bag or rtw is not going to make me as happy, as looking younger 😂🤪. Thanks Emily for the thorough videos. I think Sculptra is such a great option for people with minor sagging/beginning to lose elasticity/preventing further sagging and collagen loss. I'm at a point where I think I could really benefit from it. But I think if you're older, 50s-60s, and willing to shell down thousands on Sculptra on the many vials of Sculptra that you'll need (1 per decade of age or so), might as well spend that money on a face lift (if comfortable with the surgery that is). Though before that point, Sculptra would have been fantastic. Hindsight is 20/20 though. Looks like some people at that age do get great results (though not dramatic) with Sculptra, though as pricey as a face lift (which would have more noticeable, transformational effects).

Thank you for your comment. You make some great points. I’ve had people have great results in the 50’s and 60’s. Yes, some people don’t want to have surgery. I think if surgery is not an option, it’s really important to start these treatments when you start to notice things. Also the thing with facelifts is, a lot of people don’t want to let their faces go and wait until they have a facelift. They like to keep their faces looking as best as they can year round. @@NaturalInjectoryeah, you only live once! I think the best course of action is periodic sculptra (rather than filler) throughout late 20s to 40s and facelift in 50s-60s! Who knows if I’d ever dare to go under the knife myself, though

As always, such a well researched video. I would highly recommend Sculptra and Lanluma for a subtle look. I’ve had a few people tell me that I ‘never age’- but they can’t detect what it is as I’ve never had Botox or fillers. People who don’t know me assume that I’m in my late 20s.

I have done a number of things to play catch up over the past year (I'm 42) including 4 vials of sculptra, 3 rounds of Morpheus 8, PRF under the eyes and monthly Laser Genesis (Like your other commenter, also no fillers or botox). I'm currently doing Inmode's Evoke (RF treatment) on my jaw and chin as sagging is common in my family and i'm trying to do as much reversal and prevention as possible. My mother doesn't know I've done anything, but has commented a few times and tried to figure it out saying I've lost weight (I have) and that I was looking more like my brother who is 5 years younger. I've also shown up for appointments at places I don't go often, and a few times its taken a few moments to register that they know me and say I look great. I also have a friend who is a year older than me, and should know that for how long we've been friends, stop and ask me how old I was and guessed 36.... I'll take it, I'm not going to complain. So no regrets here. I really do wish a lot of these things were more affordable to more people. I also have kinda had to pick and chose what I get done and from what provider. No body does everything, often someone is tied to a specific brand of treatments, and I prefer doing my own research and finding someone who offers a service... but it kind of sucks not being able to get a full plan from one person

I got started at 36 because I'd rather just have small "tweakments" than have to do a major overhaul in a few years. I know I will eventually get something like a face lift, but for now, 1 or 2 syringes of filler do the trick.

I'm 40 and have always looked very young (I used to hate this and my chubby cheeks, but now I'm grateful for them), but this year has been very stressful, I had lots of health issues and lost a lot of weight, so I feel my face looks somehow "flatter". I will go see my derm and discuss about getting Sculptra. Do you use any other biostimulators or other substances that help improve the skin quality (like Profhilo)?

Thanks for sharing your story! We don’t have Profhilo here in the US but we just recently got another HA skin booster called Skinvive. It’s very new so I have not had the chance to use it yet but I will use it in the next few weeks at the training we have set up for it. I am thinking about bringing in Renuva, it’s a biostimulator that stimulates your own fat to grow where you inject it. A lot of ppl who lose weight feel their faces look older. I got Sculptra about 6 months ago and have developed noticeable nodules on my right chin area. My injector reconstituted the Sculptra two weeks before she injected me. Is this good practice? I'm not sure what I should do.

I am also afraid that I will het a face without a proper cheeck and definition since that chick heroine is beautiful, but I also have marionette and i wonder if resroting volume in the cheeck would help with marionette? Also really afraid of the bad collagen forming which would cause difficulties for the surgeons if I ever want to do a facelift, and I cannot say never to it:)

Does Sculptra help with pre jowl sulcus? I’ve had 4 vials total and do really like the results. I’m 46 and wondering if I should get a little more around that area. They’re driving me nuts! Other than a facelift what else can I do? I don’t want HA fillers. I’ve had issues with my lips. Currently in the process of dissolving and it’s been a pain! 3 treatments and still have some above the vermilion. Not as much but I’m worried about how much Hylanex is being used. And i also have 3 areas of granulomas that aren’t budging!!!

It can. I usually inject sparingly here. Sorry to hear about your issues w/ lip fillers. The lips are the most over-injected area of the face. You have granulomas from lip filler? You can also use filler to the chin and prejowl sulcus area. I know you had a bad experience w/ filler to your lips but that doesn’t mean filler is not beneficial to use in other areas. @@kite6864 Thanks for your comment. Botox can help prevent the muscle from pulling the jowls down but it cannot replace lost volume. Also not everyone pulls down on the DAO’s as intense as other ppl so I do like it for those who pull down a lot, especially if they have a wider jawline.

I absolutely agree that some women appear most attractive in their 30s and 40s. Winona Ryder is a perfect example. In many women, I feel they have more character in their faces around this time. With these women who start having more distinct facial features as they lose a little collagen, I feel it's a shame they start opting for procedures at their peak. When I look at photos of myself, I think I looked best between about 37 to 46. Now at 53, I've lost more volume, but still not too much. I'm here because I just have been noticing it more, but I would like to tackle it as naturally as possible.

Everyone has their ideal on how much definition they want in their face. Some ppl really like the chic heroine look. I do personally think that Winona looked best around the time when she filmed the movie Bram Stokers Dracula. I believe it was filmed in the 90’s. It’s one of my favorite movies. I hope you found this video helpful in considering Sculptra since you would like to tackle it as natural as possible.

Thank you for the video. I am 55 and thought I looked my best in my 40s until about 52. My concern with Sculptra is the collagen formed seems to be scar tissue and not exactly like native collagen. Will it be a problem if o ever get a face lift? Will it be difficult to work through?

Would Sculptra affect cheekbone definition for saggers? Am approaching 30 and had masseter Botox for TMJ - slimmed my face but I think accelerated veryyyyy minor jowling. Where would Sculptra be injected? And will it impact the definition I already have under my cheekbones?

I’d say early 50s great time to start - I’m early 60s and started sculptra-it works BUT takes longer to work in older folks (starting at 20s is probably not necessary)

You explain well but I went through your before and afters for sculptra- and sadly I was hugely disappointed - there is hardly any difference between befores and afters even after starting at it so hard that it starts to hurt the eye- and in some cases patients looked way better in the befores

2 vials in one go for preventative measures sounds like a LOT, let alone 2 more vials just 6 weeks later. I believe you can see the full results of sculptra at the 6 month mark, though you can see some results earlier. I want to get this done preventatively myself and I will start with 1 vial then wait 6 months. I'm 29

Since you can't know the final result of sculptura....is it possible it could make too much collegen or scar tissue and puff the face too much giving that overfilled chipmunk look like nicole kidman and madonna have? It’s good to start at 30? I am 31 I went to my doctor looking for fillers for my eye area and she told me she recommended me Sculptra instead. I love my face shape (jawline and cheeks bones), I don’t want to change it. Do Sculptra change it?

No, if you’re doing Sculptra for just anti-aging it should not change your face shape but some definition may be lessened like it did for me and somewhat alter your face shape, which for me was good. I finally geared myself up and decided on sculptra, I go for a consultation and the practitioner didn’t really think I’d be suitable not without filling my smile lines, then he pushed me towards the threads. Really disappointed because I don’t want filler nor threads and hoped the sculptra would be the answer. I’m 40 and feel like I’ve lost volume but I kept making the “lift” motion 🤷🏻‍♀️

I believe Lanluma is only approved in certain parts of Asia and Europe. It’s not approved here in the US and it likely will not be for years. They have not even started their clinical trials yet.

I started noticing sagging in the jowls and under eyes at 28 and began fillers in my early 30s. I would LOVE to have Sculptra! But I can't afford it, sadly. I can barely even afford 1ml of standard filler anymore, at $700 (in Australia). 😢

You have to massage your face for 5 minutes 5 time a day for 5 days after injections - this keeps the granulomas from forming

Woudn't you eventually maybe need a surgical intervention though. A lot of celebrities end up getting a facelift even if they use sculptra since gravity also plays a part right?

Yes you may eventually benefit from a facelift but I feel non-invasive treatments help forego a facelift and give you the ability to rejuvenate and enhance your look without having to rely on surgical procedures.

I know you mentioned that you had one treatment of undereye filler 3 years ago and you haven't had any since. I was watching this video with this doctor saying fillers last a lot longer than 12-18 months, so should you just be getting filler every like 3 or 4 years? What’s crazy is she used 4 vials here they are 800 each meaning 3200. She would have been better saving money for a vertical restore later down the road. My wife did both and wasted thousands in short term sculptra

No she would not have been better saving for a facelift because not everyone wants to have an invasive surgery. Not to mention you would look aged until you had that surgery. Some people want to look as young as they can for as long as they can and not have to wait until they see enough signs of aging on their face to the point where they are ready for surgery. Also it’s $925 per vial not $800. I’m not apologizing for the price of this procedure. If you don’t think it’s worth the $$ then you don’t have to do it but other people who do choose to do it think it’s worth the $$.

Thanks for your comment. Fat transfer is surgery and some people don’t want to have surgery and the cost of surgery should be taken into account as well

@@NaturalInjector fat transfer in my state is the same cost as Sculptra. I did 5 vials and the volume I got was minimal. I paid almost $3500 for it. I decided to consult a plastic surgeon and that’s the cost of fat transfer and he can target the specific places where I need volume and it lasts forever. I know there’s a downtime etc… btw, my Sculptra injector is a very professional board certified doctor. I’m not saying Sculptra is bad, but in my case I think that fat transfer would work better.

@@isol Thanks for sharing. Thing is for fat transfer some ppl don’t have anywhere to harvest the fat from. Have you heard of Renuva? It stimulates your skin to produce it’s own fat, so similar to Sculptra but it stimulates fat and I believe some collagen and elastin. I may bring it on. It’s very new and not a lot of ppl are offering it.

I think it’s unethical to analyze celebrities’ faces in such detail and how they age! Especially the way you present the information! Show the same examples on your own pictures, or your relatives! I really feel bad for those celebrities who can’t even age peacefully like other people without being discussed for every little wrinkle. I’m sure many of them didn’t even think that they aged that badly before watching these kind of videos!

Beauty and Fashion Industry prey on naïve, vulnerable , unintelligent and egoistic/ narcissist. Every women are beautiful, every flower is beautiful. Just because doesn't fit into human eating shark's standards in order to make money and fill their stomach, doesn't mean those women are ugly. Beauty and fashion industry, or people in it, is like prisoners/criminals in prison. Almost all are criminals, some violent some less degree and some innocent but in there. Probably you're not one of those criminals but nearly all are.
