Great advice, especially with the variation on how much oil to use. In my experience, once you start using oil, after a while you can tell how much is too much or too little for where you’re at with your growth.

Im 18,have a huge passion for beard, and i use a beard balm, its great and that is my first time using something for my beard. Its great everyone with beard should use it, beard become softer, smell good, shine... I would like to try a beard oil but i rly dont have money right now... :)

Mine fucking killed me the first few times I tried to grow one within 3 or 4 days. The moment I actually bought some real soap and some beard oil the itching basically completely stopped when I tried again. Taking care of the skin is important for most.

Time and patience bro :) Generally speaking, the older you get the more beard you´ll get (Your genetics also plays a huge part ofcourse, thats why some really young guys get huge beards, because their genetics is more badass then the rest of us) Just a couple of years ago my beard grew really slow, but now, if i clean shave and then grow it back out i get the same amount of beard in a week that took me 3-4 weeks to grow two years ago.

Good one Jack , hey man I'm rockin a Van Dyke at present a la The Shootist . It took approx 2 - 3 weeks until the chin whiskers were obeying the brush . Snowing here in West Tennessee , the first snow of the season . PEACE !

Nice vid Jack, I hope you are growing out that mammoth again. Personally, I take my showers at night and when I'm done I will throw 4-5 drops into my beard when it is still a little damp. I'm going on 4 months right now and my beard is thick and full so definitely need a fair bit of oil. After that I won't fuck with oil until after my next shower. In the morning is when I put in my balm (old money). Less is always more when it comes to beard products fellas so try not to overdue it lol

His drops are very different from mine lol. A drop doesn’t mean shaking the bottle so 4 or 5 drops come out per shake 😂

I would say; get beard oil when your stubble becomes long enough that your usual moisturiser isn't getting down to the skin.

My beard and skin gets tight and dry when using beard oil. Anything else out there to apply other than beard oil. I tend to just rub in my moisturiser to the beard when im moisturizing my face. Is that ok?

I get no clue what to do I never liked facial hair on me But 35 and been growing it out I didn’t kno u needed shampoo conditioner and oil for it… Do I need all that if I cleanse face and moisturized face ? And if so Do I need to clean beard daily and before or After washing face ? I got dry sensitive skin so hate putting stuff on it

I keep a neatly groomed shadow type beard. I use shampoo with conditioner (AXE) on my face. Keeps the hair soft. No need for beard oil when you can use a cheaper product that you likely already have.

You shouldn’t use hair shampoo/conditioner, and certainly not axe on your beard, that’s not a good move. I didn’t need beardbrand to tell me that either, it’s common sense and science. Different kind of hair and different kind of skin. But hey if it works for you, it works. I use to do that exact same thing with shampoo/conditioner axe and when I stopped and started using beard oil and wash and let it alone more often, it worked wonders tbh.

Prelusion ! Well, as I stated. I keep it shaved to a shadow (#1 blade guard) because that’s kind of my look. If I was growing it out duck dynasty style, I’d definitely use beard oil. When it’s really short and fine though, conditioner can suffice to keep it soft and not prickly.

All guys should use beard oil even clean shaven guys. I use beard oil on the areas of my face I shave, neck, lining up cheeks, and mustache. Thats right rocking the whaler! I find beard oil is the best post shave I have ever used. If I have some irritation within moments of putting beard oil on it its gone. I have literally watched the irration disappear quickly. Plus beard oil smells better than most after shaves!

Im rocking a 7 month beard, and mine grows fast and thick. Used beard oil 3 times in my life and by the 4th day my skin was on fire, it really isnt for everyone and its completely optional.

Beard oil isn't an after shave. And it's not for everyone. In my case, beard oil causes my skin very oily. And I hate the smell of beard oils. I prefer moisturizing my face with face cream and on my stubble I put some after shave balm. Good quality after shave balm has a lot of good ingredients perfect for your skin. Secondly, look at this all beard oils from this way. People like this dude from video telling you, that you need beard oil. In fact, in 00', 90's etc people don't use beard oils and have no problems with theirs beards and skin under those beards. It's all about money.

Our fragrances tend to be designed for you and those close to you (so not very overpowering). That being said, some of them are stronger than others. Specifically Old Money, Tree Ranger, and Tea Tree in my opinion. Go with Temple Smoke for the most subtle fragrance. - Eric

I stopped shaving almost 2 years ago it'll be 2 in November but geez I remember my first few months I was a laughing stock now so much time has lapsed people don't remember what I looked like but I don't forget. Now at like a year and a half I look like a normal guy who hasn't shaved for maybe a month or so.

I used to use oil, but I stopped using it a couple years ago. But to be honest, I don't really notice any difference, in fact I kind of like it better without it. To me, all you need is a quality beard wash and all is well. One thing I miss though is that incredible Tree Ranger aroma... There is nothing better... But if you're going to use a beard oil, I HIGHLY recommend Beardbrand's Tree Ranger, best oil out by far.
