He starts with an idea to play a tune by an artist then elevates it to a level totally on the fly and kills it. How he has managed to perform 62 live streaming concerts during this pandemic and get married is a testament to his creative genius and the love of his life Jill. I hope he is soon recognized by someone who can help him fulfill all he hopes for.

@@dm976 I'm guessing he doesn't have to deal with demonetization very much for covering songs because 99% of the time he covers a song, he makes it quite unique and it's rarely ever in the same structure as the original song. This one was closer than most.

I'm sure Steve Vai would feel honored at your "version", you are every bit as good, 1 day everyone will be asking other performers to play Dovydas songs and your version of other songs you played better like all around the watch tower, and the song you call the greatest song ever written. Dovydas, I have been watching many of your improvisations and certainly appreciate your creativity. But this was different, in certain parts it was absolutely uplifting and I could feel an energy that was spellbinding. It is rare to see or listen to something that takes you away in the moment but this piece was - OUT OF THIS WORLD - and I just loved it so much. For the love of God is my favourite Vai song and you absolutely did it justice - congratulations man !

I think calling this (and what he does to other songs) an interpretation rather than a cover would be more appropriate. This was a supreme performance. Gave me (good) chills several times while listening to it. Watching you enjoy it as well really adds to it. Great job!
