Sometimes I wonder if the rainy weather has anything to do with their bad moods. I know my squirrels grunt at each other when they are in a bad mood. I think they are more like people than we realize. They are cute, even if they are grumpy!

Huey’s leap into the bushes after he fails to carry off the full bowl! The squirrels are so lucky to be acrobatic and able to handle falls like this! When it’s cold and rainy out, i wish i could just invite all my wild birds and squirrels indoors. I have put cardboard boxes out for them. But they are afraid of getting trapped.

Maybe it's the weather. A lot of the squirrels I feed are different when the weather sucks. I don't like getting wet and neither do they. Great slo-mo with Huey.

lol.. Great video.😍😍 Hui is truly a funny squirrel.😜 Where squirrels show their happiness, they also express their anger. My squirrel does the same.😄 When she gets angry with me for something or if I don't give her favorite thing, she gets angry immediately.😝 Once she sat with her face turned away for quite a while.😆😆 When squirrels start considering you as their friend, their expectations also increase.❤😍😍🐿

Those squirrels in the beginning of the video are giving you "the tail", a sign of ultimate disrespect. They obviously don't know which side their bread is buttered on. And, to add insult to injury, now you have to go out in the rain and fight your way through the shrubbery to get your bowl back. There ought to be a law....

Oooh, drama at the window! 😳 It has been a long week, especially with the eclipse, and Cutie is just over it. Her kids have stomped on her last nerve while her hubby was completely oblivious to the household chaos. And Huey, well he knows she needs a good laugh, and so he thought “look at what I can do!” 😂 What set Cutie off? We may never know. Stay tuned for the next episode 😂😘💋

I had 3 squirrels that were very friendly. Zorro (see my account picture) who used to HATE rain and wind. He would throw things at my window and make barking sounds… So I made the squirrels a little home with food and water. I did forget the nesting material in the sleeping area but the squirrels sorted that out. I was going to put in cameras but then I had a fall and ended up in hospital and had to have an operation on my hip so I couldn’t work or do anything for the squirrels. I still fed them but didn’t see them as much.

Sounded windier and more noisier than normal, maybe that had them on edge. I think Huey panicked when the getaway wasn’t clean. Hitting the bowl and losing grip on it seems to be a theme still during their getaways.

So adorable! I was feeding a very pregnant squirrel who is suddenly skinnier after a few days of not seeing her. She actually prefers to eat out of my hand - it's so sweet. I hope she brings her babies when they are old enough. 💖
