"When Stampy Came to Tea" is a Minecraft parody of the wonderful children's book "The Tiger Who Came to Tea" by Judith Kerr. A firm favourite with my 6 year old son, we often read this book at bedtime. My son also watches a LOT of Stampylonghead videos. One evening, when reading him 'The Tiger Who Came to Tea' in bed, he changed the Tiger to Stampy - and this video parody was born. I contacted Stampy via twitter and was thrilled that he replied with enthusiasm for the idea and so, we began a little collaboration which has resulted in this video.

Found myself back to this video after six years. I still have this tiny picture book of the story that I made when I was 8, where I messily wrote the whole script by hand on these tiny little rectangles of paper, drew accompanying pictures and bound them all together using a paper fastener. Good times, haha.
