I used allergy nose spray one time and a student questioned if it was drugs. I was in shock. It literally was a bottle of Afrin Allergy and Sinus spray ☠️ they always do the most
I used a vapor inhaler for my nose and my friend asked what was it and I said a vapor inhaler and they were like "ARE U VAPING, IS THAT A VAPE"💀 I was like-_-
I remember taking a syrup that also has the cup like that but because i hated the med i just kept singing “shots shots shoshoshots EVERYBODY” so i can somehow cope with it 😭💀✋
@@brandyjohnson738 he was a very odd man. 7th grade math teacher. Was known to sniff markers and drink nyquil mid class. Still teaching even 12 years later haha
My mom bagged me a bunch of Tylenol for my car. Well got pulled over and when grabbing my registration it fell out of my compartment and another cop came over, had me roll down my window, and I was freaking out saying “I’m sorry my mom packed me it for emergency’s, I swear it’s just Tylenol” 😂
Omg I was using some nose spray and a teacher saw me and she literally took it to the office thinking I was doing drugs. They did a whole test on this thing. GURLLL I JUST GOT SOME ALLERGO
Whereas my students literally say, "Don't forget to take your meds!" when I go to lunch. You pass out ONE TIME because you forgot your blood pressure meds...
@@_fizzy_drink_5846 exactly what it sounds like. She used to get wrecked while class was in session and drank liquor out of a concealed container. A lot of people know this. -Ed Schum
In my high school in Texas over 10 years ago, we weren’t allowed to even bring Advil or anything to school without being threatened with a drug charge. Not kidding. So this would be shocking to us if a teacher was doing DayQuil in class, not because it looks like she’s taking shots.
I would have done it anyways. Look it's either you let me have my naroproxen, or I'll go home when my period starts. All the time. And I will not make up the extra work. I'd probably just "hide it" in my pad pouch, which i kept it in anyways.
@@dutchik5107 yeah I mean I think they threatened juvenile incarceration, so depended if you wanted to take that risk or not. Or you could go to the nurse directly and get your meds, then you wouldn’t get in trouble.
@@toohottohandle0_0 loads of assignments in high school are bullshit. That you learn very little from. You just have to do em. And reasonable accommodations must be made. My period pain is so bad I cannot function while not taking shit. And allowing someone to have their medications is not even accommodations. It's not imposing weird restrictions. I'm also not in high school anymore. I am finishing off my degree
@@jennifermurphy2226 how are they able to do that over legal substances? I get em not wanting unlabeled shit. But stuff in original packaging that does not harm people should not be a big deal. Also not everyone is allowed to search your bag legally. My school did have drug checks sometimes. Dogs would come and sniff at all the lockers. They didn't go off from over the counter shit.
I’m currently a English substitute teacher for a senior class cause there teacher had to take a leave. So last week the students realized I was taking my vitamins cause I take them at the same time everyday, long story short they went to the dean’s office and put in a report that I was using drugs in class. These kids now a days are extremely alert!
i woulda been like: yea its exactly what you think it is. i do not get paid enough to deal with my next class (in the sense that the next class is a class full of talkitive kiddos who i struggle to quiet down). so what can i help you with? then the kid would see the medicine on the desk when they get closer and ask “was it just medicine?” then id say “yea it was, i was just pulling your leg, i have a cold”
@Drawer also why the hell would i have drugs in my lunchbox please dont jump to conclusions especially when it’s something to so with a medicine that i need
My first time taking DayQuil was like a few weeks ago and I couldn’t take all 30ml of it I could only take 15 because I kept saying “It’S sPicY!” “It’S spIcY!” 🌶🥵😂
That time where my principal started putting vape detectors in every bathroom for girls and boys! Well that was scary cause I remember me and my friends would vape in the bathroom and my guy friend would do the same but in boys bathroom
I was at a bar/restaurant with friends. Did a lemon drop shot. While reaching for beer a hear a cheer. It was one of my students. His mom could barely breathe she was laughing so hard. Upside she did buy me a beer and gifted me bottle of wine at Christmas. Teacher perk.😮😂😂
I was taking my inhaler after doing the pacer and someone legit told the teacher that I had a vape 💀 I showed the teacher that it was an inhaler so I didn’t get in trouble
One time awhile back I was hiding in the closet working as a lobby attendant at a McDonald's in Orlando and putting a cough drop in my mouth. And a manager asks what I was doing. 😂.
In school my water bottle came with a cup as the outer cap, after I recovered from I think a cold and just went back to school, it was an outdoor assembly, I was in the position which the sun got directly in my eyes and it was really bright that day, after a while I got dizzy and wanted to throw up, after we went to class I poured and drank some water from the lil cup, I felt a bit better. I think I was dehydrated. So in order for me to not get dizzy and want to throw up I poured a small amount of water in the cup now and then After a few days or weeks I don’t know I find my bottle has a leak near the bottom, so I kept the bottle’s cover on so it doesn’t leak much, so then I _had_ to use the cup. I got really experienced at pouring it out, Never spilled a single drop. I have to drink from the cup fast sometimes if I’m late for something but no one raised a doubt about it.
I once said to a class “whoa, bear with me, I took some vitamin B and it’s given me a lot more energy than I expected” and a student said, “I can’t believe you just told us you took LSD.”
My old music teacher used to drink green tea and kids would think that it was alcohol- so when he introduced himself to us when we started music, he had to explain that no, it was NOT alcohol.
