Technical difficulties in 6A regional playoffs between the Katy Lady Tigers and the Brazoswood Lady Buccaneers prevents the playing of the national anthem. The fans don't accept it and begin singing the anthem on their own!
Yes, very moving indeed. Spontaneous patriotism, beautiful. A celebration of national identity is not hatred of another country it is simply a celebration and thanks giving for that which you call home. PS this isn't even my country or national anthem, but it was lovely.
The Left, can get the Left out of this country! No country, No man or woman on this Earth is perfect. There are good people, and bad people all over this Earth. For those of you that think your "good" and "righteous", think again! The "Left" condemns anyone that has a different opinion. We ALL hate racism. But, "The Left" calls anyone that disagrees with them "racist" by default. Go to any other country in the world, especially in the East, and see what true racism is. The left keeps moving the "goal post" and changing definitions of words to suit their divisive, group think, racist, self righteous narrative. The Dems are the ones pushing it so ignorant people will buy into their nonsense just to get their vote and remain in power. Those of you that have voted left for most of your lives.......WAKE UP! They want us to be divided! Just listen to their rhetoric! I have NEVER seen Democrats so desperate to divide this nation.
To be honest, that’s the way it always should be. I’ve been to sporting events where the National Anthem is played from a recording over the PA system, and there’s only that one little elderly lady singing the words. We owe it to our fallen to sing the words every time it is played.
As a Swede, I feel it's so odd to sing your anthem? Like, I know the words to our anthem, but I don't sing it when I go to sporting events, and I consider myself fairly patriotic.
@@joelthorstensson2772it’s just an American tradition built on our love for our country I guess. Not to say others don’t have love for their country of course, they just express it in different ways.
If this doesn’t make you a proud American, nothing will. The fact that a crowd of people was able to spontaneously come together, find a key, and sing the national anthem to the end shows what patriotism is all about.
I tore up watching and listening to this. Who said that the audience is no part of the game? Who said that the people of society have no say -- or song, in the running of this great nation?
You know, I wonder if there isnt something about being a patriot that you dont cast stones when it just isnt necessary. Life is too short, and the life you do live is filled with those you will largely live with while here. Everyone is free to live their life in America as they sit fit. Thats why they are American, and more so I think patriots. Help those you can while you can, and live as best you can see fit so long as you aren't hurting anyone. I love this video, that's for sure!
I am not an American, but I had a lump in my throat listening to this ,well done.As an English woman,I am ashamed that so many of our nation do not know or care about our national Anthem.
It's not for nothing. The US national anthem is top 5 in the world and arguably the most catchy/moving. Even "my country, tis of thee" pulls on the old heartstrings. It's hard not to be proud to be an American, unless you're total commietrasche of course. 🇺🇸🇺🇸🇺🇸
I isn’t just our anthem that counts. I went to Alma Michigan a few years ago for the Highland games. At the mass bands I had to sit in the Canadian section. When they played the Canadian anthem I sang along. Made some new friends that day. Helps that I have visited Canada many times.
I’ve been around a lot of the country. In such polarizing times it makes me happy to know I’ve always seen some form of patriotism. My only problem with the video is I wasn’t there to help sing!!
Hey I thought I would try to get your attention back to this video. It says it’s been almost a year since you made that comment and with all the craziness happening out there, here you go man. Enjoy. 🇺🇸💵
Great job fans, and thanks to the coach and team that showed the respect to this Great Country we live in. It means the world to all of us who served. Thanks
Heh. Just had this happen at a playoff game recently. Technical difficulties in the sound booth, so someone in the stands started singing and everyone followed along. Then the people at the game on the field next to us (another playoff game) started singing along, too. Good stuff.
Did anyone else sing along with the video like I did? I can respect a peaceful protest more than the anthem NOT BEING PLAYED at all. Love and respect to all in attendance at this ballgame
I am so impressed... thank you, thank you, thank you ... that other team shame on you ... True Americans 🇺🇸🇺🇸🇺🇸🇺🇸🇺🇸🇺🇸🇺🇸🇺🇸🇺🇸🇺🇸🇺🇸🇺🇸🇺🇸🇺🇸🇺🇸🇺🇸🇺🇸🇺🇸🇺🇸🇺🇸🇺🇸🇺🇸🇺🇸🇺🇸🇺🇸🇺🇸🇺🇸🇺🇸🇺🇸🇺🇸🇺🇸🇺🇸🇺🇸🇺🇸🇺🇸🇺🇸🇺🇸🇺🇸🇺🇸🇺🇸🇺🇸🇺🇸🇺🇸🇺🇸🇺🇸🇺🇸🇺🇸🇺🇸🇺🇸🇺🇸🇺🇸🇺🇸🇺🇸🇺🇸🇺🇸🇺🇸🇺🇸🇺🇸🇺🇸🇺🇸🇺🇸🇺🇸🇺🇸🇺🇸🇺🇸🇺🇸🇺🇸🇺🇸🇺🇸🇺🇸🇺🇸🇺🇸🇺🇸🇺🇸🇺🇸🇺🇸
I appreciate the umpire turning to dust the plate and acknowledging the crowd for taking it upon themselves to sing the anthem. I really don't know who these people are that apparently don't want to sing the anthems, but the majority of Americans do want to sing the anthem in unity.
This brought chills through out my entire body! God bless those people, especially the team that went back out! I hope they won their game! If you don't like our country, LEAVE!
What the announcer should have said: "Due to technical difficulties there will be no backing track, but if everyone will please get to their feet, we will be singing the National Anthem acapella."
Hopefully the Patriotism displayed here will bind this Great Nation together and help overcome the dark forces that are trying to divide it's people and attempting and destroy it and all that it stands for...Love from the UK.....xx
Did they sing the WHOLE song? including these lyrics? No refuge could save the hireling & slave/ From the terror of flight or the gloom of the grave:/ And the star-spangled banner in triumph doth wave/ O’er the land of the free & the home of the brave.
What a show of pride of our nation. This was 6-1/2 to 7 years ago, but today or national Anthem is under attack, as is our way of life. If you've ever lived or traveled overseas, you know how much different our country truly is. (While our government has done things we The People don't agree with, and worse, that's not who we are as a people, or as a nation.) Our country, like many others, has a Constitution. But ours is the ONLY constitution that tells the government what they are AUTHORIZED by We The People to do. Most, if not all, other country's constitutions tell the people what they are allowed to do. Just think about that for a moment. Singing the National Anthem is a sign of love and respect, it's something I believe every American should do. America is not perfect, but to me, it's the closest to prefect you can get on this earth. I'm not a Democrat. I'm not a Republican. I'm an AMERICAN!!!🇺🇸 (Texan too) And PROUD of it!!! I'm Just Sayin'.
