I’ve spent years looking for this movie. I was a little girl when I first watched it without my parents knowing. I had nightmares and refused to sleep for days on end after watching it. I never told my parents I had watched it. Then I blocked the memory of watching it completely. One day all of the sudden I tried to look for it but had limited success. It’s been almost 30 years but I’ve found it.

Watched the movie some time ago… Still an amazing gripping movie.. Nobody makes movies like this anymore!❤

This was an excellent movie. Two weeks in solitary confinement is considered torture. Twenty years in an isolated cell with no windows or any decorations and no socialization of any kind, you get Hannibal Lecter.

Agent is stupid. Onto serial killer,no backup,no one else knows what she is doing or where she is.

Saw this year's ago, I've always liked Martin Sheen. He plays a great part in this.

Started well enough but became a little hard to comprehend later. That's how these books and films go. 😊

Was this an exciting and nail biting film? I’ll say it was, there were moments in it I found my heart beat was getting faster snd faster. Brilliant piece of work in story telling.

For a highly trained FBI agent who came in like rolling thunder, this female State trooper is really a neurotic, bungling, untrained, no common sense kinda gal, ain't she!!!?

My college roommates and I rented this from Block Buster yeeeears ago, and it was so suspenseful that we had to stop the movie several times. We all ended up in different seats from where we started, and laughed at ourselves for getting so scared!!😅

I'm aways into movie and so far no explanation for boy's barren hospital room. No books, pictures, music. No therapy effort of any sort? Ridiculous. Only believable/sensible part so far is Martin Sheen role.

Good movie.... Albeit a tad close to 'Silence of the Lambs'... But you don't get a thumbs-up from me.... Why? BECAUSE YOU CUT THE ENDING and CREDITS! DON'T DO THAT! And, It would appear that I'm not the only one annoyed by your ferocious editing....

Never saw this until now. Just watched and Now I gotta put my 2 cents in. I'll watch ANYTHING and EVERYTHING with Martin Sheen in it. When it takes place in Houston. I thought it was based on true events. IT is fiction. What makes a thriller great is when the writer makes the story believable. This was not. In the last Act when the SI, WITHOUT a "warrant or probable cause", breaks into the house. You Already Know the ending. The acting was OK. The flick was average. FYI. FBI Agent Clarice Starling HAD a Warrant and probable cause. You were in suspense to the very end!

This is a very good movie! Well, worse the watch! Read my response to myself! Artificial intelligence is not working well when it comes to dictation! They can’t even get it straight when you type!
