Boy, and it don't help when you 6'3" and just want do your job (and only the job you applied for,) but managers get insecure. Some assume I'm a skirt chaser there to fornicate with everything in sight. And I'm not going to hide my intelligence; this however impacts the mentally inferior types who assume that the "neighborhood" is my only life experience and orientation. I've encountered this from the time I was 18 to my present age of 46; from a Warehousing Associate to a Professional Administrator. I do good work, have great attendance, and succeed whether tasks are interdependent or independent. Still I never keep their employment long until I'm phased out in some unscrupulous way.
