If I was your coworker I would report you to management. People like you are careless and put other people in danger for your own amusement. I want to work in a safe environment.
1:46 this is literally how you clean a hose used for cement. You stick a large spongeball in the tube and it sucks it all the way up to clear out the leftover cement.
Tee he 😂 Please will you check out some of the bonkers U.K. traditions, like chasing cheese down a hill, running with flaming tar barrels on your shoulders, and dancing round a man wearing a bog eyed trampoline in Padstow?
Ok not a construction worker, but I think the issue with cleaning the cement tube, was that he used his hand to help push it up in it when it was a little jammed, instead of using a tool. My thinking is the same as safety wood cutting power tools: you can’t always predict that you might get accidentally pulled or caught in the feeding mechanism so you always use a guide stick; in this case there’s probably a lot of suction power in that tube and him adjusting that sponge with his hand to get the sponge better sucked up may have presented the risk of his hand and arm getting sucked up too. Ideally I guess the sponge going in would block or lessen the suction power but maybe not. And I think the flexible mallet guy’s issue was he wasn’t wearing a helmet or any protective head gear while knocking down heavy debris above him and swinging it behind his head.
