StevenHe coming out of nowhere was NOT what I was expecting😭😭 Edit: What is up with y’all coming after me, it’s simple: I see a new Daniel Thrasher video, I click. Didn’t even see Steven in the thumbnail till y’all pointed it out anyways😭🙏
Every continuity error I could count, with shot numbers: #1 "Yo! I'm headin' out to Wendy's, you want anything?": No errors, establishing shot for Hoodie Guy. #2 "Uh, no thanks.": No errors, establishing shot for Laptop Guy. #3 "Suit yourself.": Hoodie changes from a lighter blue to a deeper, purplish blue. #4 "Whoa!": No errors. #5 "What?": Hoodie then changes to a bold sea-blue. Hoodie guy gets a pair of round sunglasses. The thermostat goes from blank to "80". #6 "You look different.": No errors. #7 "Yeah I got a haircut.": Hood is down instead of up, and the round sunglasses are gone. There is a green dot under the thermostat number. #8 "No, it's like every time I look in your direction, something changes.": No errors. #9 "I have no idea what you're talking about.": The hood is back up and changes to a forest green. The thermostat is also blank again. #10 "Do you see?! Right there! Right there! Y-Your hoodie is green, isn't it usually blue?": No errors. #11 "It is blue.": Hoodie color reverts back to the first scene, and Hoodie Guy gets a silvery necklace. #12 *confused silence*: No errors. #13 "Hey, are you sure you don't want anything from McDonald's?": Hoodie turns aggressively pink, the necklace is gone, and the thermostat is back to 80. Hoodie Guy says he's going to McDonald's and not Wendy's. #14 "Didn't you say-... Pink hoodie now! Didn't you say 'Wendy's?": No errors. #15 "Sure, we can do Wendy's.": Hoodie guy is back to the original blue, and in a chair reading a thick book. #16 "Where did that chair come from?!": No errors. #17 "Oh you know what? I think we have a substitute editor today. Yeah, this video's continuity is gonna be a little wonky.": The chair is gone, and Hoodie Guy is walking up from farther in the shot as he rolls and twirling a new basketball around. #18 "A substitute editor?": No errors. #19 "That's right. Jeremy's on vacation.": Hoodie Guy has round, normal glasses that he then removes. #20 "...whee.": No errors, establishing shot for Jeremy surfing some sick tides and having the time of his life. #21 "Good for him." "Yeahh." "AUGH!": Hoodie Guy is in Laptop Guy's shot. #22 "Hey shut up, what is that?": Hoodie Guy is back in his own shot, gesturing with the sunglasses from shot #5 and not the eyeglasses from shot #19. The thermostat is also blank again. #23 "AUGH-GAH-surprise plant!": Laptop guy has a plant in his hands. Also his laptop is gone. #24 "Oh no. It's getting worse.": The sunglasses are back on Hoodie Guy's face, only to be pulled off again. #25 "Dear God!": It is very dark, Laptop Guy is not holding a plant anymore, and the laptop returns. #26 "Don't worry. I have an idea.": The poor lighting doesn't carry over from the previous shot, Hoodie Guy has a large hat and speaks in an accent. The thermostat is also back at 80 with a green dot, and the light above the stairs is turned off. #27 "Okay. What's your idea?": There is a Barney meme on the wall. #30 "Once I leave for Wendy's, the scene will end and everything just be back to normal.": Hoodie guy becomes StevenHe with a print on his shirt. The light above the stairs is back on, and the thermostat is bright blue and set to 73. #31 "... Okay.": Instead of a keyboard, there is a camera rig on the background table. #32 Dubbed: The thermostat is back to 80 and is not blue. Hoodie Guy is dubbed in another language. Note that the crew member wandering into frame is technically not a continuity error, just distracting. #33 Dubbed: Laptop Guy is also dubbed in another language, by another actor. The captions are white and not yellow. The plant in the background has completely changed shape and there is a new poster on the wall of someone I don't recognize with a very dated haircut. The keyboard is back and the camera rig is gone. #34 "Okie dokie. Welp. I'll see ya.": Hoodie Guy is wearing a Hamilton jacket and the thermostat is blank. #35: There is a giant plant on the countertop and the original plant established in shot #2 is now on the background table. There are also three more posters on the back wall, and one more poster on the other one, largely obscured by the countertop plant. #36 "Whoops! Hah! Almost forgot my key.": Hoodie Guy has turned into that one royal character to pick up his car keys... which were not there in the previous shot.
@@danielthrasher I've spent a socially unacceptable amount of time staring at your rings and watch because I swore they were going to change. Cool video though!
You went from point 27 to point 30, said point is missing a word in the dialogue script ("everything *will* ") So even your comment's continuity is flawed 😂😂 Good job on the script still ! @@daisiedragon
There's a scene in Airplane where this guy takes off his sunglasses when he says something dramatic, and there's another pair of sunglasses under them, which he takes off soon after.
Three times, one when he says editor is on vacation, one when he points out the plant, and one when he says it's getting worse Edit: a few seconds after my comment, realizing the first instance were just eyeglasses, and not sunglasses as your comment originally pointed out.
1:00 "yes I'd like a hand tossed stuffed crust pepperoni pi-zza with sAuSage topped with a little extra tomato saUcE and in the middle, put pineapple and spinach, I hope you're taking notes cause this order's not finished, for $10 could you throw some Salami on her plus a lot of olives-"
Something like this happened with Peter Parker in Infinity War with his hair and I got so freaking annoyed that I yelled at my mom, telling her this and was embarrassed the whole time in the theater
I'll match your headcanon and raise you: They are the same person, but Hoodie Guy used a time machine to travel to the past and lost his (albeit very small amount of) sanity, becoming the Emperor.
Hey daniel just wanted to say, the amount of “what the heck? How can this get weirder? Oh, thats how” absurdism in your skits makes me want to make things like this. One of my biggest inspirations
This makes me so happy to see! My friend and I had an idea for a skit just like this but we never made it, difference was they weren't going to notice it until things got so bad they start having a crisis
I've been watching your videos for months now, always see them in my recommended, but to my HORROR I just realized I was not subscribed yet. I immediately fixed that grievous mistake. Love your videos! :)
Always love a good continuity video. This one's right up there with Jacksfilms' video, and Chris Reinacher's video featuring Chris and Jack. Excellent execution! It had me snorting with laughter. Now we wait for the comments to put together every single continuity "error" in every single shot.
