1:5 is the ratio, ... 10 :50 in your case
@aztekwarrior518
@aztekwarrior518 6 лет назад
@@iveco555 I believe those numbers were true at one point.. but social media and the chance for a review on every big website, I'd but those numbers are very different now.. In the heat of the moment, many more people will leave a bad online review as opposed to being so happy they left a review.. further, when you're seeking reviews on a company, you're typically looking to see how many bad reviews they have, and if you're going to read reviews, they're likely going to be the bad ones.. I've actually gone back and changed a review after I read enough other people had similar problems and it had been going on for over a year .. to sum that up, we aren't just talking to 5 people anymore.. our voices reach thousands to millions when they're strategically placed ..

Great video. I've been a heavy equipment mechanic since '90. Once you gain their trust by being honest and up front, they will love you forever, and will wait for you to get freed up rather than just use the next guy in line. An old guy told me once that a dis satisfied customer will tell far more people about you than a satisfied one will. Im checking out your other vids too. Thanks again!

That was the best video I have ever seen! There needs to be more honest contractors like you. You couldn’t of said it any better!! You have earned my full respect and a lot of props. People don’t understand this but that’s exactly how it should be. I see way to many companies that are greedy and always want to give the people the wrong end of the stick. I understand people are in business to make money but honest money is always the best. It makes you feel good as a person and you can go to sleep at night with zero guilt on your plate. It’s not always about making money, but to help better the people’s lives that they work hard for to achieve these certain things and from what you said it shows a lot. You man get a 100 from me. I appreciate it a lot and so does the rest of the people out there. Thank you for being this way. I hope this helps open the eyes of others. Stay blessed man.

I agree with your approach!! I always present the cost pros and cons on all projects for my customers. I personally use the value and or resale value of the home as a deciding factor on any project. If we need to go over budget and the house still is at market value with the extra cost. I usually agree for the client to spend the money. But I never want a client to be strapped to a house they can't get their money back out. I have received many referrals because of this approach and when the client sells and buys a new home I am the first they call for another job. Great channel by the way!

This guy knows his stuff. He's the kind of guy you want on your job and you should gladly pay him for the work that he does. Worth every penny and very, very smart. Interesting situation - we are in a similar one. Just filled in a large fish pond (about 50' circular) with sand. We want to install a remote paver patio and pavilion over the area. Waiting till next spring to allow the ground to settle before bringing in class 5 base material for the patio. Didn't see the water table at the bottom of the pond, so hopefully a soil correction wasn't necessary and the sand alone will suffice as sub-base material.

I'm a coordinator in adult rec hockey (completely different profession, I know) and that's how I get teams to "re-sign" with us: Give them the best possible product with the lowest amount of overhead, and you never have to go advertise again. Hell, we've been GROWING in the past three years since I took over. We've been getting teams from leagues that are so terribly run, they don't seem to care about their clients.

The RC series tractors go where other tracked skids can't period.Bobcat tracked loaders I've used will shake you apart if you run them in any difficult surfaces, where the ASV/Terex loader will run circles around them. Those rocks sound similar to ballast underneath the railroad tracks. Serves a similar purpose.

As a Customer I agree 100% I am a mechanic not a landscaper and when I had a driveway put in, they cut so many corners that in less than a year, it was cracked down the middle and crowning.. I would have rather it be done right the first time.

Retired commercial electrician here. I would constantly get calls where people had some issue or another. They ask for advice but never seem to believe what you are saying. I cant tell you how many times I heard about one of their friends who said do this or that . They will believe someone else before they listen to a master with 30 years of experience.

Just because you can, it doesn't mean you should. Nice work.

There should be more people like you that try to keep customers from making bad decisions that could have serious financial issues in the future

Amazing! What you did was smart. That's a lot of fill that would most likely settle a bit after the job was done and possibly ruin the patio that was to be built. By putting the yard in you probably lost money ... i can't imagine it was the same price as the doing the patio. You looked out for the customer and what was in his best interest to do and not just line your pocket with his money and go. The customer hopefully respected what you did and hopefully your truthfulness to the customer bought you more jobs down the road. Nice job

We call the aggregate TYPE-1 over here in the UK. I have used stacks of it on my build.

I agree as a project manager for reclamation, the customer (or in my case, the property owner) is typically wrong!
