The moment you realize these knights have been training literally their entire lives in the art of combat only to get their butts kicked by a random recluse and a donkey
@@Made_In_Heavenn The track is called "Intermission". It's from the original Doom 1 sound track used on the level clear screens and in Episode 2 map 3. Hope this helps.
Shrek has been inconvenienced by Farquaad, Donkey was almost sent to a concentration camp by Farquaad's men. It's like the difference between Professor X and Magneto in X-Men: First Class
Yeah I recently started no I did not recently two years ago I started MMA and one day I was walking around the house when I saw someone watching college wrestling and I cringed so unbelievably hard I turned off the TV seriously they are wide-open for legitimately any attacks I hate it
@@God-of-canine Remember that wrestlers go to school to learn how to do the moves without actually hurting each other. Pro-wrestlers are some of the few actors that actually deserve a decent paycheck. LOL
Yeah, it's those subtle additions that can make or break a video segment. I was debating on also using an OG Doom Revenant scream when the one knight was in an ankle lock, but thought that might be a bit much. But I digress. Thanks for the feedback.
I always thought of how it was odd that everyone was shocked and a little scared when he showed up but then every in the audience was cheering as Shrek just starts taking out their armed guards.
You know it makes sense, Farquaad isn't exactly the nicest ruler out there. I'm not surprised the crowd enjoyed the sight of somebody, _anybody_ kicking the snot out of his enforcers.
huge props to whoever made this. Not just every other doom meme with the soundtrack slapped on. The music is synced up at the perfect moments and it even has a couple doom sound effects. superb.
Thank you very much. Most of the time spent editing this was debating on throwing in more classic Doom sound effects or not. One in particular was the Revenant scream when the one knight was in an ankle lock. I decided against it because it felt out of place and wasn't as subtle as the giblet squish for the barrel drop.
Thank you very much. Figured classic Doom fans would appreciate that subtle nod to the original, and it just fit so well at the end that I would feel negligent if I didn't.
What I really love is that if they had used this in the actual film it still would have fit. Shrek is just such a well balanced film that you could through almost anything into it and it would still be tonally appropriate.
No trouble at all; I had a lot of fun editing it and I am delighted to see it being such a popular video. Thanks for your feedback. Be sure to stay tuned for future projects on this channel.

Are we just not talkin' about that smooth splicing together of clips from when the spear knight was about to stab Shrek and when Shrek grabbed the spear?
Thanks for that editing shout out, I really appreciate it. I tried my best to minimize shots of the crowd and to make the resulting segments blend together. Didn't do too bad with a laptop default video editor, if I do say so myself. But I digress. Thanks again for the comment.
That music track was used as the "level clear screen" throughout all of Doom 1, but it wasn't used in an actual level until E2M3. But I digress. Kudos on the classic Doom shout out.
My next video request: Title - Warner Home Video, but the last note of the fanfare is replaced with Madonna saying “died” Description - The current Warner Home Video logo - ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-FixEgOSw7xA.html - will be used. At 0:05, the final note of the logo’s music is replaced with Madonna singing the first “died” part from her American Pie song.
I could only find isolated vocals for the original American Pie (by Don McLean). That, and I don't see how that line generates any comedic effect at the end of the WB Fanfare. Sorry about that. I should note that I don't want to discourage you, or any other channel subscriber, from leaving suggestions for future content on this channel, but there are some facets of audio production I have yet to work with (as of this post). I would also like to add that I have my own projects in the wings, so stay tuned for those as well.

I used to listen to this back in the 60s... What a wonderful cover! A Message to Future Generations, Don't let this song die. It's November 2021, let's see how many legends are listening to this masterpiece
