Pretty sure his... well... his production line was made to make them into entities capable of wiping out entire civilizations singlehandedly. Someone on some planet’s being annoying? Send an Iron Giant, he’ll have it wrapped up in about a week. Especially when you take into account their ability to re-assemble themselves.
"OH SHIT A GIANT STEEL MACHINE THAT HAS A 200MM CANNON WITH AN ANIT-MATTER PLASMA CANNON!" *Pulls out 1911 loaded with .45 ACP when he tanked 124mm shells and a destroyer cannon*
Sometimes i too feel like a misunderstood superweapon. A festering rage lingers at the back of every thought. Even when i vent i find it hard to keep it at bay but Its also a cold rage. It makes me take more aware of it. However when its just a bad place in a bad time i manage to break down those around me. Its not right or healthy but it is for defense at the end of the day. Only my closest people help me keep myself in check when times get rough. Very general but i think it gets my point across
@@destroyanad8651 What kind of medical "help" are we talking? Therapist? Psychologist? M.D.? Bar Tender? That one person I know with a dog? NASA? Better yet... why?
Imagine if a weapon has a soul, that mean is kind of weapon you dont want to mess with. Edit: the director of this movie said that he made iron giant as a memorial for his sister who died by gun violence, he said what if a gun has a soul, then the gun will refuse to become a gun.
I remember watching this movie as a kid, many years ago, don't even know who made it, BUT!! I always loved the 3 tendrils that sprout from his back in combat mode, he always Looked awesome, and scary of course. Just goes to show, don't poke the gentle giant.
this is just terryfing because he was not trying to hurt anyone in the beginning, when hogarth got knocked unconcious it reminded the giant of the dead dear they found... his response at first was sadness he couldnt protect his friend, next as the shots landed on him he got anxious remorsefull... angrier by the second when he snapped he overheated his core restoring his weapon sistems to max capacity and just gave up on being nice, "you kill my friend you die" that is the mentality he ended up on and i just felt chills down my spine the first time i heard him scream that is how you make a good guy becomes evil trope
the iron giant is literally so powerful they annihilate matter which isnt even possible according to the laws of physics and can create a blast that's probably more powerful than a nuclear bomb
