I bought one second hand. The rim is painted bloodred on the inside. I wanted to convert it to a shaman drum as that kind of drumming I can do. Now, I am unsure what to do. It needs cleaning and it needs to tell me whether she is a SHE of he is a HE. Having been more or less a priestess drum, it ought to be a She. How do I learn to play her when I cannot hold her well enough because of small hands?
