The Lord Jesus Christ has been my shield and comforter when I went through a dark season last year suicidal thoughts, depression, barely eating, I even thought of cutting myself I finally checked in a mental hospital and gotten the helped I needed I had my mom and granny and Jesus to depend on spending 3 to 4 days in a mental hospital reading my Bible in the book of Psalms and getting on my knees praying and begging to God for mercy for everything I've done I am forever grateful for God's faithfulness during my darkest hour I hope my testimony encourages others to know God is faithful let your pain draw you close to him

Josiah, Romans 6:6&7, “Knowing this, that our old man is crucified with Him, that the body of sin might be destroyed, that henceforth we should not serve sin. “For he that is dead is free from sin.” You might want to get some commentaries to get a better understanding of these two verses. Basically, saying that you must give up anything that is keeping you from walking a closer walk with God. What TV shows do you watch? What type of music do you listen to? What books/magazines do you read? Do you have Christian friends? Do you have a daily Bible Study? Do you pray without ceasing? Is there anything in your house that displeases God?
