That's me, sometimes 😅 but I ping for a defender so that I can swap to clefable and we stomp them. If i just swap to a defender, we have 1 defender & 4 attackers, which generally ain't much better ☠️

@@CASantos I also like playing tricks like that 😳 I lock in lane Greninja and switch to defender/supporter/all-rounder/mage last second depending on what the team needs Sometimes my team ends up with 2defenders+1supporter and that's great

I thinks it’s more likely a trio was all attackers and pinged the lobby “attacker needed” just to be funny and maybe also see if they could win with all attackers because it is a trash team comp cause it is possible to win with any team. The win always comes down to which team plays better decisions the team of attackers honestly just played bad.

This is what happens when I, the guy who picks defender most of the time, choose not to do it. In 90% of the matches that I don't pick a defender I will not have one, a couple of allrounders is what I will get at best.

Yeah, it is indeed true that team with better comp is gonna win most probably. But in a game where last 2 min matters most, anything could happen

Full all-rounder teams are a lot weaker than most people think they'd be. Every time I play against a mostly all-rounder team we stomp them (unless my team is ass too, which isn't uncommon]

Which is why draft mode will not help like most think.

I'd be concerned with the Ray fight. But with like blastoise/goodra who can at times perform like allrounders, umbreon as your "support" 😅 etc, i can see it. Defenders in general are just really good too.

Yeah! It's okay I you have 5 attackers in your team. Nothing ever goes wrong when you insta lock into what you wanna play despite what the team needs.

Or change the MVP system. I can count on one hand the number of times I've seen a defender or supporter rated MVP.

I disagree. Some of the best players I know or have met are one tricks. Of course comp matters, but just being good matters more. Yes, a balanced comp is better, but it doesn't necessarily mean it's gonna win

@@nicolomanfrini8671 Imagine if that were the case with everyone about what you said, being good with one Pokémon. If the selection phase is gonna be like that, where you just pick the one Pokémon you have, then it's most likely that it will end up like the enemy team in this video.

@@kamenriderrain it's not about imagining, it's about what I have seen in my games. I've had team mates pick four attackers and then a couple of them giga carry, and I've had teams with two defenders and a support and them being absolutely useless to the point of costing the game. But I get what you're saying, I just don't think it's simply about roles. Attackers include very different playstyles. Having a cinderace for DPS, a cramorant for cc and a Pikachu as an artillery mage isn't bad, they just need to be good at the game.
