Actually cal of duty black ops 2 had this case in the story mode-- but they had an option where you could shoot the guy who gives the command- what ends up happening is that he stops you from doing it and shoots you and your friend- you then become a different person in the game

This is one of the choices that Splinter Cell: Double Agent actually handles very well. The antagonist line touched my heart

At this point I've played so many of these games that even the villain would think im more evil than him on how quick I decide to save myself

Imagine if it was an option, but the trick was you had to wait until the time had almost complete run out. The game could still have a sequel, too. People have survived supposedly lethal gunshot wounds before (most often in fictional stories, so that works out), and the antagonist could have left only one bullet in the gun.

In my experience with role playing games, if there's a timer with an impossible decision, let it run out and see what happens

In cod black ops 2 you had to choose between killing an ally or killing the bad guy while being an spy, if u choose to kill the bad guy he takes ur gun and kills u before u can react, changing the ending, wish they do that now
