We narrowly escaped widespread flooding this past week but fortunately the Cumberland River stayed where it belongs, for the most part. It peaked on Friday, the 10th of May, and yesterday, the 11th, I flew my drone down the river paralleling Riverside Drive in Clarksville.
I flew from the mouth of the Red River to Liberty Park. Passing McGregor Park, the Clarksville Riverwalk, the RC Gorman Bridge, Freedom Point, the Clarksville Marina, and turned around and returned after a quick tour of Liberty Park.
Later I will be posting some sunset footage, filmed on Friday when the river was cresting.
