I went Flawless with Esra yesterday. He joined my LFG post and I immediately recognized him. Our 3rd teammate messaged me to ask if I wanted to ditch him to join his friend with a 2.6KD. Esra then proceeded to clutch a 3v1, then we reverse swept and then won the rest of our 7 games undefeated. He may not be the best at explaining a raid, but he is a good team player.
I just want to give a shout out to YEG. He could have easily taken over the raid and done a much better job than I did (it's been two years since I sherpa'd outside my clan and I was super nervous explaining), but he not only respected that I was designated Sherpa, but he backed me up and helped get Esra to shut up. True OG.
@@kuro9476 YEG and I were suspicious cause 'Eugene' was super kitted and knowledgeable for a new player, but didn't realize it was Marco until after the raid when a friend showed me his channel.

@@yeetingpotato2934 yea I was colonel crayon cruncher in the garden raid it was like my 3rd or so time running it. And he helped every time I really commend his patience with stuff like sherping
YEG is an sweetest lad. I've sherpa'd tons of Garden with him - never a bad experience, always eager to help, and he has a good feeling for when the fireteam / individual needs an attitude check. Any sherpa that can't confront FT member that is out of line or hurting the raid in a big way makes it worse for the whole team.
This is exactly what I was thinking too. I remember the first few times I would sherpa I would over explain somethings and completely forget some others
YEG is a legend, a lot of him supporting me and getting Esra to shut up was cut out of this run. This was my first time doing a sherpa outside my clan in two years so I was pretty nervous, but he backed me up and stepped in to add some explanations when needed.

Sure is a rare sight to see people fighting to teach. I usually have the problem of people fighting over who HAS to teach lol. Kinda wholesome compared to what I'm used to.
I’ve been in Shotty’s situation way too many times man… having a guy try to explain the encounter and he spends like twenty minutes and then I basically explain it in less than five and everyone understands it better but I don’t feel like interrupting the other guy and I just sit there watching the time pass by and wondering what I’m doing with my life
Marco i got to say your editing is really good, like the floating texts following the people speaking, effects on tones and just the general vibe is really entertaining to watch also your video with Dani in it was priceless
in the last couple of my lfg raids there was always a guy that saw the need to absolutely get wasted, similar to the one in garden here. why is this so common, do people feel badass when they get drunk with strangers on a call? or maybe it's not that common and i'm just unlucky with teams lol
No one feels badass, ppl drink cuz they like drinking and then maybe they decide they want to play video games. They’re not doing it to feel badass bruh lol
You should post this and the full unedited version, your dedicated viewers would definitely watch getting more watch time and we get longer content. Your videos are top notch and not just cause of the dedication and editing but you are a great entertainer.
But esra didn't get discouraged even when it was clear the entire team deemed him worse of the two sherpas. He would go on to explain other raids to New Lights becoming somewhat of a legend in a Destiny Community. 😆😆😆
Esra reminds me of some guy in a group chat I have on PlayStation, I was doing the new dungeon and I got to the final boss and got the guy. I just wanted to know how to get the standard essence. He joined and started talking like an anime nerd, and told us what we needed. So I was trying to talk and he went on and on about how he had done the dungeon hundreds of times. He hadn’t even finished the other two encounters, just joined on someone at the final boss, they taught him and he thought he knew what he was doing. So I just told him “No you’ve attempted hundreds of times.” And kicked him, got a third and got it second try. People are weird
My spoken English is so bad I'm self-conscious and never use voice chat because I know I would make the experience worse for everyone else. That guy could be more self-aware and realise they don't speak English well enough to be doing a Sherpa run in English.
Don't worry too much at speaking languages badly, you'll learn while doing it. Most people don't care too much about having to decipher what you're trying to convey. I just don't recommend trying to Sherpa or explain things.
YEG helped me and others do a div run and it took an hour and 9 mins. That was my fastest ever garden clear Super nice and told us what to do and how to do it
This covers my experience trying to sherpa last wish to help my friend complete it. Easily one of the worst experiences. Went through about 12 different people and took around 12 hours. Finally went to bed at 8AM.
Ahhh I feel that intro so badly... man I could solo flawless so many dungeons if the occasional bullshit deaths didn't make me so sad. You seem chill I wish I could find a group willing to teach that was like that
Ur not alone man, can’t tell you how many times an enemy knockback just ones shots you no matter what. Especially cabel shields, I got smacked and didn’t even hit a wall but died on shield impact lol, shits buggy as hell this season

dude in the dungeon i feel your pain so much i think i tried this 4 times before actually making it so now i got the seal complete i never NEVER wanna solo again untill they fix the chield cabal and the bellkeepers. btw jesus in dsc i dont blame the guy with broken eng but i will leave after like 5 min of that even if i knew what to do witch i do.
