I find the song very peaceful and I enjoy listening to it when I'm on Hikes or riding down the road. It has beautiful ambient music all thought the game. Dan Romer and co. nailed the atmosphere in this game. So I made an hour-long Loop with a slide show so you can enjoy it! If not I will.

The last game me and my buddy played before we lost him. Met in 2008 playing Halo on Xbox live in high school and been friends ever since, even met him and his wife in person in 2014. Hearing this music brings me immense sadness, and happiness for the memories. Even if it was just a few months ago we played this together.. I’ll never bring myself to complete or even play this game without him again. The music is nostalgic, happy and full of sadness hearing it all at the same time. Nothing in life is permanent. I played this game when I had no job for a few months during COVID and I had been unable to see my family for so long. It feels bittersweet to listen to it. It was a hard time but this game gave me an escape.

This song is...i don't even know. It does something with you when you listen to it. It's almost like you're there on a lake in the summer and just take in the scenery. It has such a calming, almost meditative effect on me, it's amazing. I rarely have feelings like this for anything really, but it's even more amazing that this piece stems from a video game.

This takes me right back to a particular August summer day almost 4 years ago when I was 12 turning 13. I had gone on a road trip to Scotland with my friends. The music reminds me of cruising along some random motorway in Northern England, the rocky hillsides growing on our side. The afternoon sun shining through the window as it had begun its slow descent. Matthew on one side and Arfyd on my other. Laughing and joking, in our youthful immaturity. Carl and Jordan in the car in front of us. The green meadows and moors sprawling out for miles on end on both sides of us. The white wind turbines in the distance were slowly spinning, to the backdrop of the indigo silhouettes of the rising Grampian mountain range. I know we will never be like that again, having aged so much. We will never have that childhood innocence and happiness we once had. But in my mind when I listen to this, I am taken back to that golden hour on the road to Loch Ness. That golden hour of friendship and brotherhood.

There's a road near me that takes you through a span of fields and farm land either North or South. Taking the road North (for me it's towards home) at just the right time before sunset, sometimes I'll put this on in the truck as I drive, and between the sun setting off to my left, the glowing orange fields and this song, it's almost scary how calming it is. It just hits different immersing yourself in the song's atmosphere, capturing the calmness it orchestrates. It sounds corny but sometimes you really do just need to take in what you can and enjoy small moments like those.

This song takes me reminds me of the plains in Colorado and the small town i grew up in, Hunting with my friends, exploring with my first car. The mountain trips i took. The family trips driving 7 hours through wyoming to go to montana or south Dakota. The endless humid forests and lakes in Eastern Oklahoma...

This game had a lot of issues. Music wasn't part of them. The soundtrack fit 100% with the universe and it just makes you dive deep into the game's world. Amazing loop fellow :D.

@@themusiclibrary5576 In my opinion it is a great game, but it lacks something. The beginning in Father's church build up some pressure, but that's all. You never fear the Cult after this point. The same feeling you feel in Fallout 3 when you run out of ammo or Metro when you wander by night you know ? Infinite ammo and easy farmed perks (and cash) break the difficulty. I think since it's an open map, the could have made the Cult way stronger early, forcing you to sneak not to get oneshot. Characters are sometime well-written (John Seed and the Father mostly), but I felt like they had no time to shine enough. Missions are tasteless and just allows you to discover the world. And the voiceless caracter bring nothing to the whole journey, he's nothing but 2 arms holding your gun.. Remenber Jason in far cry 3, his way to slowly turn as mad as Vaas.. It was awesome. Hopefuly the world is fabulous, gunfights are juicy as f*** and that's why the game stays awesome. Well sorry for the novel I just wrote, wanted to share about this game ^^

@@rmb7323 you made some very valid points. I've never been a survival game player though this was actually the first Far Cry ever played. I came over from playing first-person shooters like Call of Duty. The storyline just hit home with me.

I hate when I'd open the map just to quickly check where I was, this song would start to play, then I'd have to sit there, doing nothing and just listen to it. At least until the violin dropped lol. Best Farcry Soundtrack.
