9:47 lmfao Emma is just sleeping on counter as Mel C. does dishes. They're all so adorable and I love their vibes, and it seemed like they had some really special, fun memories! Love the Spice Girls.
The Spice Girls and Netflix need to team up and create a tv series about the history of the band, a The Crown kinda show bc they have so many juicy stories and distint personalities. They could have at least 5 seasons of storylines
Gerry's speaking voice is so funny to me. Their individual accents are so different and so interesting. I'm sure Brits can decipher their regions, but as an American I just enjoy them emensely.
@@AvecPoesie Lol thank you. I'm actually a pretty decent speller but every once in a while I will royally f up a word that's not even that hard. Example, I once spelled exhausted with a g😂. That was a long time ago though..
Basically, Mel C and Mel B are from the North of England (Northerners) and Geri, Victoria and Emma are from the South (Southerners). Mel B and Mel C's accents utilize harsher consonant sounds than those in the South, with shorter vowels. Being from the North-East of England myself, I always found Emma's voice the most soothing and clear - quintessentially "English", alot like Geri - are you able to understand them more clearly? Although impossible to generalise, Northerners do have a reputation for toughness. You could probably make a convincing argument Northerners can “tough” the cold better than Southerners 😁
@@theboyjames3065 Geri and Emma are hands down the easiest to understand. It’s their accent, the way they pronounce their vowels, consonants and how they blend them together that makes it clearer. It’s a typical southern English accent. Victoria comes next but there’s something different to her accent which I just can’t explain tbh. These three are more ‘polished’ and sound more ‘refined’. The two Mels being northern, are rougher and that can be a problem for foreigners as RP English and the southern accents is what’s taught in school, at least in Europe or what you hear in movies/media etc so it’s more popular.
What special times these five have had together. I wish I got to have these kinds of bonds and be in a group . So lucky they are to have had the career they have had
Mel B was always treated so unfairly by the media. Always so derogatory towards her, and that from her moniker "scary" to them saying she was a horrible person. I truly feel for her because everybody always treated her as "the other one"
7:00 it's hilarious how Mel B & Mel C as roommates calling each other as 'Melanie.' Well, they both have the same name to begin with; one is Melanie Janine Brown & the other is Melanie Jayne Chisholm. Scary & Sporty; they both had almost the same personality, but with different characters✌️🇬🇧
Thanks! Maybe haha I do intend to make a few more of those, but who knows if I’ll ever get sick of this haha The style of the videos pretty much completely depends on the material that’s out there. Have to work with what I got. This video was a nice hard challenge though lol
Victoria was so pretty then. It's hard to believe that the person she is now and was then are the same. I have to say that Victoria and Bunton are my favorites, though Mel B doesn't annoy me as much as she used to!
@@charlescharliecharlotte Even though she was a part of the initial lineup, she was never a Spice Girl; because at the time she was still in, the band was to be called 'Touch'.
You did an amazing job with this video. I was obsessed with the spice girls as a kid I had no idea about any of this! Who was the member that left cause her mom got sick Michelle?
They had a showcase before they left their managers. They essentially took down names and some numbers. One of the producers, Elliot Kennedy, they just knew his name and where he was based. So they drive up and call every E Kennedy in the phone book until they got him.
