As much as I don’t like the way they took sunrise out of the movie, I’m so glad they used it as part of the instrumental at the climax of When the Sun Goes Down!!! Gives me goosebumps every time!!!
The VFX in these scene are flawless... I can imagine getting the angles aligned for the camera movements between the tilting set and the wide angle environment was very hard work.
Say what you want about the In the Heights film (I have said some things) but I watched it with my mom and heard her AUDIBLY GASP as soon as they start dancing. It's magical Old Hollywood style musical nonsense. It's perfect.
I remember the first time my class watched this scene, everyone went crazy when they kissed because we were all rooting for them, lowkey one of the best scenes and visuals in the movie
Actor Corey Hawkins made me cry in Tears Because i really miss Actor Corey Hawkins as Heath On The walking Dead and i hope We Will Definitely finally See Actor Corey Hawkins as Heath Again On The walking Dead universe as a whole in live action again 🥺😢😭💔😔🙏🏾
The movie is based on the theatrical show, but it has its own storyline. So while in the show, Benny and Nina may have broken up when she went away to school, in the movie it seems that they were able to stay together, even if it is a long distance relationship In the show, Nina was Sonny's love interest before she started seeing Benny, while in the movie, it was at least suggested that Sonny and Graffiti Pete were dating each other
Fantastic scene, even with the goofs. At the start of the scene there is a window air conditioner behind them and someone is drying towels/rugs on a railing, both are missing at the end.
Maybe you better stop watching movies, they've been doing this stuff for YEARS. I think the entirety of the creative decisions surrounding this song are stupid, but did the people who made this movie not know what bricks feel like? Try sliding down a couple inches of brick wall like they do at the end of the song. You’ll be screaming in agony as you leave behind half of your skin on the wall…
