@@CR1MSONACE also!!! Veteran/trapper/lookout/werewolf/war having "attack/see five people in one night" with the added challenge of the werewolf having to stay home!!!
I remember the game I got this achievement I got controlled into myself n1, getting both achievements, got saved by a cleric, then proceeded to get the third "perfect shot" achievement because apparently if you hit defense it is counted as an evil no matter what. Absolutely chaotic game.
“ I didn’t do anything wrong” I love this because none of these people are self aware enough to think about what they didn’t do. In this case didn’t vote the jinx.
I just like how aggressive pipe is getting now. TOS is a deduction game and too many people think “I didn’t do anything wrong” when in reality it’s what they didn’t do which was wrong.
Most frustrating part of all of these types of games. Someone has ironclad logic, and the... let's call them "lesser skilled" players just don't get it.
@@eatingyoshi4403 which is a surefire way of alienating newer player base. Deduction is a skill many people don't have but they can surely build up that skill
@@quackduckquack The kind of players we're talking about don't try to learn. They stay willfully ignorant, and hostile to anyone trying to teach them, just like what happened here.
The problem with sheriff is that its horrible in AA, but its very balanced for set role list's (which is what the game is balanced for). it shouldn't really get buffed unless they keep it separate from the set list's
You know what Sheriff should be? Their ability should be to DETAIN a target. In short, they create a private night chat with their target they select during the day. It doesn’t roleblock, it doesn’t protect the target, it doesn’t stop abilities, but the sheriff can chat at night with that target. Would be a lot more interesting than “Inno/Sus”, and create more organic play/counterplay.
Interesting idea, but I think it should be a separate role. People might complain about Sheriff but it does have one of the one of the most powerful information sources in the game. I would be all in for an Interogation role, or like Invest, could make it an alternative ability.
Invest is supposed to find Killing Roles while the sheriff finds non killing. If you give one something another, has you make one redundant. At least, that is my take on the matter. Not like it matters, without TP you are usually a high priority anyways lol.
The only problem really is apoc. 3/4 apoc can't be found either by sheriff OR invest. For every other evil role, at least one can detect them (even if arso is unlikely). I suppose a change could be that sheriff can find apoc as well, either all or all but bers. That way all evils have at least one between invest and sheriff that can find them.
My issue is that sheriff can find at most 3 coven members and NE, and that's it. At most there is like 4-5 people you can find, and they're usually lower impact roles. Finding jester actively harms you, exe and pirate is just meh, and only being able to find 3 coven at max (assuming there are 4 coven and no illu) the role just ends up being really low impact more often than not. Compare this to psychic and seer, and it's not even close. There is a massive disparity between the TIs in this game, as coro, invest, and sheriff give so much less info than seer and psy. I think nerfing seer a bit, maybe no night 1 vision and in exchange small buffs to a few weaker tis.
Why is this the second video in a row that someone is extremely upset you found them out and then complain about it in dead chat? Was that the same person as the last video? lol
(24:57) Tbh, I didn't get the game 3 logic either. But then again, I still get confused by the 2 door 1 lies the other tells the truth riddle. I guess my hang up was that I didn't trust 15's LO claim.
Also 2 door riddle is solved by asking any of the guards which door would the other guard say leads outside. Both points to the same door so you choose the door they didn't point at
yeah it took me a moment to process what line of thinking pipe was going down. but 11 gave a weak claim in a match that has confirmed roles and stronger claims. plus they simply didn’t defend themselves that hard. just a bunch of question marks as a variation of “why me”. definitely one of the less obvious pushes but the logic is 100% there
1:10 assuming no scrolls and all roles are weighted equally we have 1/53 to roll Vigi 14/53 for someone else to roll witch (I'm not smart enough to calculate unique roll odds) 1/14 - 1/11 (depending on cov count) to be the control target At best this comes out to about 0.000453% or ~1/220,000 At worst it's about 0.000356% or ~1/281,000 Someone double-check my math because I'm sure I've messed up somewhere
Sheriff does needs buffs, but not just make them a better invest. They could have a secondary ability, which could find Apoc/Jester/Exec as sus instead.
If Sheriff gets buffed, it should be able to find Baker/PB/SC, like in modded. Neither Sheriff nor Investigator can currently find them, minus Shroud intervention.
I just had a game where i was Exe. I was #1 on the list. I targeted 15 and D2 i pushed him. I got him hung D2. One player was like "I dont think 1 is Exe cause real exe usually wait to push." Surprise I took him with me.
I would have gotten 6 before 11 in that last game. 6 visited shroud, no cov kills. 6 got rbd, no cov kills. They were obviously CK, you couldn't RB them again, and the logic for why they were cov was much simpler. So hang 6, RB 11. You could have possibly survived the night like that.
I don't think sheriff needs a buff. I think it makes sense that you can't find all the evils as sheriff as if the game goes on long enough you just search everyone left alive. Also, checking the votes was very powerful. I played a game as coven where town did NOT look at the votes (except for one very exasperated Monarch) and not a single one of us got voted! The pirate killed two of us (and tried to vote the coven along with mon) but town was super passive and we won anyway despite all being outed by our voting patterns
The Conjurer nuking Tpow claims is why when I'm Coro I just random claim either Marshall or Pros. There was one night I somehow convinced enough people that I was Marshall as Jest that when pushed in a psy will the Coven just straight up nuke me before I could even say anything or (not prove as the case would have been.) Town had a larf though. Posting "Conj L" the rest of the match.
I've memed in the d1 chat to vet bait as jester, vested, got attacked, then hard pushed a random person as a "Seer Claim" and the Conj who hit my vest meatballed me. Then jailor exed the Doomsayer I pushed so it was a grand old time for me
Hey pipe have you watched tuba's newest video about Digital Bandidos updating ToS1 since 2 years or more ago! Also love your videos! Also why didn't you show the whole game because you got an achievement and died on n1 PLEASE SHOW achievement games that you died on Night 1 for!
So, uhh... please don't be mad... but I kinda sorta got the "protect 3 people in a game" achievement my first time rolling Cleric... 11 asks for TP, I save them. 13 whispers me and claims admirer on 11, so I start going on 13 to get the chain going... and 13 gets attacked twice before the ret forgets how trickster works, and accidentally kills me with the stored up ww attack while trying to lengthen the chain lol
Game 3 Spoiler: While I don't play so unsure if I'm correct but wouldn't you be able to tell there are 2 WW in Game 3 based on the kills? Both Poisoner and Cleric died to WW but if you think about it, Poisoner "poisoned" 12 and 13 healed 12 from that poison (and also saved 12 from WW) but died from rampage. Since poisoner had visited 12 the previous night, it wouldn't make any sense for them to revisit the same target (since can't roleblock the same target twice in a row), indicating he died from a different WW. Feel free to correct me if I'm wrong, I just found that really suspicious when that came up.
If only you’d been controlled into yourself night 1 you’d get a twofer on the achievements. But maybe not since witch had the book? Or would the cause of death be coven and vigi?
Day 14 of telling lies: Here we can see Pipton unlock a rare achievement through his sheer skill and ingenuity at the game alone. Too bad there wasn’t any witches in the match :/
"We have roles in the game that are more believable than yours. Yours is more likely to be fake than theirs." Maybe that's better to explain? Its also funny when people say its not logical but when you explain they didnt vote the evil, they still dont get it 😂
people saying that trick (and soc for that matter) cant claim tp are just dumb imo, trick and soc are both effectively town protective, especially considering you NEED TO PROTECT someone as trick to even BE the tk your role actually is
Sheriff always felt like a weird role. Very powerful ability on paper, but so many exceptions and interactions to keep track of. And then on top of everything else, you aren't going to be trusted most of the time because it's the easiest role to fake and it doesn't work on half the bad guys anyway. Just not very satisfying to play imo
Can someone explain to me how 7 killed pois and cleric? He seems confused when it’s double ww game but I think it had to be double ww for those 2 kills
I had an interesting Jinx game. I was jinx with a wilding team mate. N1 a Mon knights & as usual the knighted person is evil, not coven though & N2 the Mon knights a non-claimer instead of the Psy & knights an Arso. D2 I ask if the mon was witched N1, even though I know there is no witch, or just stupid cause you never knight N1 as a mon unless witched. The rest of the game until the Arso ignites a Spy keeps trying, & failing, to get me hung just for calling out the mon's stupid moves. Eventually the Arso ignites blowing up everyone but myself & my team mate. We manage to fast vote the knighted Arso & win. As the Arso was on the stand I told the dead townies who were still around roughly this "This is what happens town when not enough of you spend the whole game tunneling on one person. You lose so hold this L town & learn from it"
