The story in 2 Kings 4, tells us about a woman who didn't settle for occasional encounters with the word of God. She and her husband made a special room for Elisha, symbolizing their commitment to having God's word present every day. Perhaps the most remarkable part of the story is when Elisha prophesied that the woman, who had never had children, would bear a son within a year. Her initial disbelief was overcome by faith, and the impossible became a reality.
This reminds us that God's transformative power can work miracles in our lives, even in seemingly impossible situations. May you be encouraged this week as you continue to stand on God’s word!
