"Paul And Bobby's Monday Trumpet Tips" presents this short video discussing when it's time to move on to the next thing in practice. So often we get bogged down if things aren't progressing and sometimes moving onto the next thing helps keep our practice fresh. Then coming back to the task is often easier. Please enjoy and be sure to subscribe and tell all your trumpet playing to join in the fun as well.

Jens Lindemen Gave me a good idea that he uses all the time and he will set a timer for 10 minutes and work on a particular problem area of a piece and as soon as the timer goes off he won’t hesitate and then changes to something else, and if he wants to go back to that he’ll wait till he plays three or four other little pieces at 10 minutes each and it keeps him fresh without banging his head against the wall. I tried it and it works!!! Otherwise I’ll just work my chops until they turn into Jell-O!!
