Hello HairBesties, I wanted to do a lighter soft pastel color on her but didn’t know she was gonna come in with a color correction. She had used a sunflower yellow color conditioner and I tried my best to remove without compromising her hair. So We both decided it’s best to balance it all out and went with a deeper shadow rootage so when it fades out it blends down more. Which worked out great. It’s about making the client happy and doing what’s best for them even though I prefer a much more softer result. Thank you for the love and support as always. BTW I love how the Blush Xpress Toner looked on her hair pretoned.

Guy, my stress or panic attacks manifests in the same way ...as blindness. Its so scary but finding a way to manage stress is so important. Love that you are using music as a way to protect from the stress demon!!!!

I love it. I never thought of pretoning before the superpowers because I was afraid of making the color muddy. Beautiful result and gorgeous in between color too! I took a pink out of my hair and it left me with green tones so I used a red shampoo on my blonde hair and it left my hair with warm orange tones. I used pearl toner and now my hair is a nice platinum but the tones are a little uneven and I'm getting slight green tones again. So it's definitely difficult when people have those uneven tones in their hair!

But, for you, you HAVE to take time for yourself. Its not selfish. Actually the opposite, you went blind. Praise God you work out, eat right. But it will catch up the next time you may just not wake up. Stress kills. Yes, I'm selfish I want to see all new everything, but coming from a medical community I need you to take care of you. You explained it very well, thank you. I think lighter roots wold have been more elegant and sophisticated. As you said, you weren't allowed to go higher than level 8. Maybe her natural level or a little brighter would have looked amazing.

You don’t. You let it fade out as much as you can and maybe a quick bleach wash and then you work with whatever undertones you end up with. Professional direct hair dyes usually fade out into lighter versions of the same color; its still very pretty. And if the hair is healthy usually it goes back to blond (eventually).
Guy Tang ah yes, an ultra pearlescent root contrasted with yellowy mids might have looked like an incomplete color job. Difficult choices! But It all turned out very beautiful, it really is masterful work. 💜🌺
