I think that's the beauty with Marksmen/Stormcaller/Phoenix. Once you have a frontline it's easy to get a deathball going because long range can keep them safe while they just slaughter everything in front of them.

I love the shared HP and % healing on sledgehammers. It out heals even the toughest sniper or stormcallers. The only thing able to kill that is Melting Point. And yet it takes some time. Try it out, It has carried so many games for me.
