2+ years old Frenchie. From the start, he had issues with people at some point and have been anxious in general plus he is a fearful dog. Earlier he could manage 2 strangers but not that much time. However he always had an issue with the maid. After the fear and incidents where he bit in family during argument and stressed situations, his anxiety would peak up. We went to dog therapist but she said that he is already 1 years now and its difficult and everything. We cant let anyone in the house. If we have to, then they need to be in seperate room. He barks and growls at them. Early on he because ok with s person coming home, he even mingled s little and suddenly he bit their hand. It may have been playful but biting isnt good. He doesnt like going out in a sense, when we get a cab he growl at the cab driver, and if aunty tries to pay or interact with driver, then he growls and barks and tries to attack. However at daycare he is like an angel. How can we socialize him now? Since he is old? How should we start?

Our family recently took on a Frenchie into our home from a relative who was having problems with her. Even though “Scarlet” is nearly 3 and has visited with us and our 3 Bosties many times in the past. But now that she’s here full time we’ve noticed moments of aggressive behaviors. Most specifically guarding doorways and not letting others pass through without snapping. Also sitting atop our bed and snapping at the others as they get in to bed at night. They all go outside and play together without a fuss. She was raised to this point with my mother in law primarily alone just the two of them. Suppose maybe this is a factor. Trying to put it all together , figure out how to sort this.
