They are. Laura has done many revisiting to clients she's felt are super vulnerable and in desperate need of help. She's personally made calls to services and Adult services etc... to explain ppls situations but she's always hit a brick wall. Unless they're 65+ they have pretty bad family and mental health services over there. She just does what she can in between her hectic life and schedule for these people. Laura is an incredible human being, absolutely beautiful heart ❤
This is wild! I feel so bad for people that live like this. It’s hard not to empathize with them. This could be anyone’s family member. I know an elderly lady that has no one but herself in life, as far as family goes. She never had any kids and her husband has passed on. Thankfully, she has the financial resources to hire help, if needed. Not many people do. I’ve taken her on as kind of an aunt/mom. I clean her house 2x/mo and make sure she gets all holiday meals, homemade and delivered. That toilet!!! Omg how does one not vomit?!
People who do this work are wonderful. Confronted with the bathroom, especially how to clean the toilet seems daunting. Thank you for making the lady's life so much nicer.
But it’s not cat urine! If you noticed the soiled diapers and pull-ups these are the source of the ammonia smell. Even humans if they are dehydrated will have strong smell in their urine. It’s really sad.
I've cleaned a couple level 2 hoards. I praise the ability of these folks to handle these conditions. It's a lot more than just a mess, it's psychological imprint, weighs on your mind well after the fact. Thank you for doing this ♥️
Knowing the intensity of my contamination based OCD, I’d either have to shave my head or sit in the shower scrubbing my skin and scalp off for 3 hours after just one of these cleans. Lord have mercy.
I'd put on a tripple layer of gloves and make sure that it's sealed between the gloves and body suit! 😂😫 It stressed me out that one of the ladies had a gap between the gloves and suit haha. Well done job though!
Wait! THAT was a LIGHT cleaning?🤔😷😳🤯 Her 🐈🐈⬛were probably SO grateful to breathe fresh air, that they took off not knowing it would get a LOT better in there! My elderly upstairs neighbor recently passed away, and they estimate she had been there on the floor of her Apartment for 2-3 days. She had lived next to me for 8 years, but whenever I tried knocking on her door, she NEVER answered it. Reclusive type. She had recently forgotten WHO I was when we I ran into her.. That was pretty sad, but, I thought maybe she was going thru those changes. The Landlady found her & was naturally shocked & upset. Thats why (now) being subbed to Crime Scene Cleaners, one can truly appreciate the work you folks do. What you did for the lady who lives in this video is EPIC! I found out for our small Island theres only (1) guy that does that type of cleaning. And shockingly when a person passes away here, and someone needs collect them to transport to Morgue( again), theres only (1) guy who does that. Wow! Not even the Funeral Homes here move people except for Funerals.
Glad to see a new full length video, although sorry to see the circumstances. This has to be years of neglect. My heart goes out to everyone who lived in this.
The toll this takes on a person's physical and mental health is awful. I feed bad for seniors or didabled folks that live alone with no support system to get them through this.

I hope they have someone to follow up . I would think they have a council for aging or something that helps older people. I am already looking into it at 60….I have no one to assist me, so I watch and realize, it can easily happen to me.
It was so good to find this after months of mossing your shiw….it always amazes me how people can let things get this out of control but ive learned with medical issues and the follow up and then depression sets in, its possible…thank this team for going above on this cleanup….and Laura, so glad to have found you again!!!!
What gets me is these employees cleaning these homes in states where its hot and humid like Florida abd wearing those jumpsuits. I hope those homes have air-conditioning at least because cleaning all that mess in that heat can make a person pass out. All of you are honestly doing God's work.
Sincere question: what got your employees interested in this field? It's an important job that needs to be done and I'm thankful that someone is doing it, but it's gross. Are your employees like "I need to do something to keep the lights on.", "I like working with my hands\manual labor.", "This pays well because nobody else wants to do it.", "I like helping people, but not interacting with them.", or something else? This isn't a dig, because I'm sure it's a hard job and a mentally taxing one, but what draws people to the field?
These people are a god sent to help these kind of people in need of help they go all in feet frist to help when someone really needs it very hard working people right there they go beyond i truly hope these people get a high rasie of pay for what they do ❤..thank you for all you do for people out there ❤ ❤ ❤ ♥
It makes me so sad that someone was living in all that. What's even scarier is that you know there are many people that live like this and no one knows about it. These are the people that need assistance, some sort of help. No one should live like this.
@@njbkw1514 Either mental health professional to address the hoarding issue. If that's not the case and they just can't get around to take care of themselves then they need some type of caretaker to assist them with these tasks. There are resources available for so many things...keep researching and digging until you find one that will help.
Hopefully this poor woman can keep up after the clean up or find someone to check on them. I know when some get to this level threy stop allowing visitors to their home from shame.
Oh I forgot about the refrigerators that have been left with decaying food, I just don’t have a very strong stomach when it comes to cleaning these apartments. I know someone has to do the cleaning but it’s not my cup of tea!!!

Watching this I think are there family? If so where the hell were they. Were there social workers involved in her care? If so where the hell were they m, does she have neighbours? If so where the hell were they!!! It doesn’t take a lot to check in on someone every week - even if they don’t want help u still persistently try so she knows someone cares. Well done gang !
I bet psychiatrists would beg to argue. Many mental health issues can cause things to start small and then it just gets out of control. Not to mention maybe walking and mobility have become a massive strain. Not everyone has funds for scooters)wheelchairs. Not everyone has family or friends looking out for them and not everyone has the funds to live in assisted living homes, nor do they want to. Don't judge without knowing a persons full medical/mental/life history.
The person that lives here obviously can't take care of themselves and should not be aloud to move back in on her own. They need to be in a care facility or this is just going to happen again.
Why not just bring a bunch of garbage cans, put trash bags in the garbage cans, spread the garbage cans throughout the house in different rooms and have everyone shovel instead of having one person sit there holding the bag open while another person shovels. If you had trash cans where people could just dump the trash into then everyone could shovel, and that will probably make it go faster
I like your idea, but maybe to modify it a bit. Cardboard boxes to hold the bags. No need to struggle remove the bag , just onto the next one. The only problem is the extra cost. 💙
Problem is the bags fill up too quickly, it's faster to have a person whose whole job is holding bags and removing them, it would take longer to put the bag in a trash and take it out again 3 minutes later
this is way more than a health problem, add mental health problem to that. If they can throw the stuff on the floor they can throw it in a trash bag. might not be able to carry the bags out but least everything isn't all over the floor etc. I hope you or someone called APS on this poor person.
I'll I kept thinking was, girl! Zip up that suit and put the hood on! Those roaches may dive in and catch a ride home on you! I've dealt with the flying roaches a few times at work, and they are no joke. They were flying out the cupboards right at me!!
I hope crime scene cleaners regularly get their lungs checked. I’m sure it can’t be healthy to breathe this stuff in on a near daily basis, even in minuscule amounts/with those intense high-grade masks on.
I wonder how many trash bags they go through in a month/year. So much plastic…..I wish there was a better way, but I definitely don’t know what it is. Burning them pollutes everyone’s air, so they just sit in a landfill forever.
The crime in this scene was the lazy owner threw their used incontinence pads anywhere and shit for jesus in the toilet till it blocked. Cats dont throw pads on the floor and block toilets. The owner got lazy.
