I remember watching this episode as a little kid and being oblivious to the fact that these were ACTUAL rappers. It's great looking back and seeing that two amazing artists that I frequently listen to were on this episode of Regular Show.
Straight facts It’s crazy seeing this episode as an adult after I grew up watching this as a kid. Super cool seeing Gambino and Tyler on a show like this as legit rappers. They were perfect.
I remember feeling like "whoa this is actually awesome" like at that age I had gotten used to cartoon level rap so that's what I was expecting but this came and I was like "This is so different, this is actually good"
Probably a known fact; but JG Quintell wanted to do an episode about rap but without those crappy kid lyrics that are often put into kid’s shows. His solution to the problem, get real rappers to write their own raps for the episode.
