well, now that Gino Da Campo has left the fold in the 'Gordon, Gino, and Fred' thing, I can see it as 'Gordon, Fred and Uncle Roger'. and I can already hear them ripping Jamie Olive Oil apart limb from limb with comedic prescision as they cook their way through some remote location where they've never heard of Jamie Olive Oil - and it would be glorious. wits will be honed, humour will be sharp enough to cut through chillie jam, and everyone laughing and feasting around a camp fire - where Ginos guitar will meet it's fate. millions will watch it and millions more will watch it twice. 🤣
Honestly, yes. Gordon's a brilliant chef so I feel like he could actually teach Nigel some neat tricks, and he's also the type to be really open to learning stuff that's way outside his wheelhouse, so I'm sure Nigel could also steer him right on some traditional Asian recipes. I think whatever they come up with together would be really good, and I can only imagine the chemistry!
@@jjryan1352 I was born in 95 so i grew up with mad tv which i always liked more than the era of snl that was around at that time, i liked old episodes and clips, but nah as far as sketch i was a mad tv fan, but i know snl is shit now the clips online are just horrible lol
@@BeavzMC I'm older so I got to enjoy the early days of SNL with Eddie Murphy, Dan Akroyd, John Belushi, etc. Canada had SCTV with people like John Candy, Martin Short and Rick Moranis. MadTV and In Living Color had some really good sketches and characters.
@@Valkyrie-xk9os what a maroon. 🐰 Are you really that shallow?????🤦🏻♀️ Uncle Roger is hilarious. Nigel stand up is meh. I hate it when people play white knight. Frauds. You think we don't know Uncle Roger is an epic character created by Nigel himself? You sound deluded, like you've been living online more than in reality.
My thoughts exactly, as I watched him stay in character, while talking to an English couple. The whole time I watched I thought, "now, is he going to slip up and start talking in his normal accent?" I'd have such a hard time staying in character if it were me.
@@raddifsheikh1736 you'll notice that those who appreciated the criticism later worked together with him while the others continued to ruin asian food. example would be gordon and that bbc chef cooking rice the wrong way...
Wait, are you saying no one has ever seen Uncle Rodger and Jamie Olive Oil in the same room together the same way no one has ever see Batman and Bruce Wayne in the same room together?
I consider myself a bit of a stand-up comedy connaisseur. I love all the greats- Carlin, Murphy, Williams, Chapelle, Louis, etc… and I must say, Uncle Roger’s material along with his delivery and timing is nothing short of damn good.
His refusal to engage, respond, colab, whatever is the cause of his own "demise". Celebrities don't have the luxury of just ignoring those kind of things.
I like how he broke character during the Russia part. Nigel came out there a few times, makes it even funnier cause he's basically SOO mad at Jamie he couldn't keep the accent.
@@Jay37_tech So is Trump - does that mean he's a good chef? Money doesnt mean skill, doesnt mean quality, just means someone was willing to pay them _thinking_ they were worth it. People are dumb.
Jamie changed his "Traditional swedish meatballs" title to something else within 2 hours of the video being posted, he thinks he can hide his terrible cooking by just renaming everything
I think renaming videos within the first day of posting is a thing that's done on youtube, same with thumbnail changes, you can see which one works better and that one youd keep... but yeah nothing would help olive oil man
@@Pavlinka__ ofc but he always just changes titles on the videos where he makes non British food after people start telling him how wrong his recipe is. That doesn't feel like it is to get more clicks but instead try to save his name.
Can we just talk about the fact that Jamie Oliver saw that people were dunking on his Thai Green curry and thought "Man, I would rather be accuse me of cultural appropriation at this point" and just removed the Thai people from the equation and claimed it was entirely his own thing. Wild thought process.
The funny thing is that every video uncle roger has reacted to and some other asian dishes too. Jamie oliver has changed the title "Jamie's x" like Jamie's thai green curry, Jamie's egg fried rice and Jamie's pork ramen
