While other groups have scary leaders, he is the one Monsta X likes to bite and sleep on.

I relate to him on a spiritual level. He's really an introvert. He doesn"t express his emotions unless he really feels them, and that can come out as being emotionless but he's actually so kind and genuine.

I've said it before... he is Monsta X's ROCK. The stereotypical Dad figure to the tee: leadership skills, reliable, dependable, unshakable, seemingly unbreakable and filled with STRENGTH to support his family. Those are characteristics I see in my own dad and many other dads I've come to know. When the going gets tough, they hold their team together with strength of character and shed tears only when their family receives much deserved recognition.

He’s not good at expressing himself but tell him to dance and he will give everything. But he’s improving and trying his best everyday. I hope no one misunderstand, there’s someone said before during the worldtour that she’s quite disappointed bc she’s a shownu stan but he hardly give expression to the fans etc, but pls do not misunderstand. He’s just like that, he is awkward and shy. Let’s not force or expect him to do what other members does.

Not going to lie, when I first got into Monsta X, Shownu was my least favorite member because he is emotionless. I would call him robot. But, then I realized he is absolute sweetheart and it's probably hard for him to express himself, while most of the members are sensitive he is the one that keeps them in line. He definitely has that dad like quality and I understand why he is the leader. But, I still call him robot though 😂

...really I always felt that he was a 8D cutie or at least 4D; this mostly comes naturally when u are the papa bear of all sons/members esp. as a leader XD I actually adore him because of it/its a part of his charm, how can u simply not like him & isn´t it the sweetest that he can´t express anger^^ our beloved sweetie his blank expression make me want to protect him but also his character makes me feel protected as well : ) a true Dad

I remember a video of Monsta x member telling a ranking for who of them was completly different at home for what they show in front of cams and they said Shownu was 100% the same. This appa bear is an incredible human to me....his way of being is really calm and quiet. He have lots of feeling but is strong enough to not show his "weak" side but sometimes he cant deal with it like the first time winning in theshow...He is the best leader that Monsta could have and all the members trust in him, they see him like an important reference figure. Thats the reason I believe Shownu was chosen for leader finally and not Wonho...the bunny is too emotional and all his feelings stressed him too much. Love you Shownu. Monsta x fighting!!!

Shownu is such a sweetheart and my bias in the group. I can even go as far as saying that he is my ideal type. Although not my ultimate bias he is pretty high up in the list. He has so much to offer I hope people appreciate him and the other member too.
