Writing and singing ARE two different things. If you want to hear Gabriel sing something he’s written, watch his video of “No Irei”, which is on RU-vid. As for this cover, I think he slayed it! He is a Master of taking any cover and making it his own. You’ve just showed, by your own opinion on display, that writing your own music doesn’t guarantee the kind of response Gabriel receives when he sings, even if the songs aren’t his, originally. Because if you can’t do justice to what you yourself write, you will need a Gabriel Henrique to enhance your song and bring it to life! And I believe he would be able to turn even the phone book into art by the sheer magic of his voice and interpretation. I write and sing my own music, but I’d be over the moon if he ever chose to sing one of my songs. I’m sure he’d sing it better than me, but I’d be honored and thrilled if he did!😮❤

The thing is about original music, I don’t know why we make such a big deal about having to write or do original songs… Gabriel is beyond compare- he transforms songs to be his own because HIS VOICE IS WHAT SETS HIM APART. Grandes cantores não são grandes compositores. Tô cansado de ver isso. As grandes canções geralmente não são escritas ou criadas pelos grandes cantores. Se vê isso toda hora. A música é como um filme ou novela. Precisa de um grande intérprete pra pôr vida e emoção no personagem e naquilo que ele deve passar. Gabriel é o cara na hora de interpretar as grandes canções. Ele dá a vida que elas precisam pra emocionar o coração do público . Geralmente quem compõe não tem a voz e o talento pra interpretar.Gabriel pode ter suas próprias músicas, mas com ajuda de compositores de qualidade. Ele não é compositor, é um dos maiores cantores da atualidade E isso já é excepcional. É assim com Adele, Mariah Carey. Foi assim com Whitney , Elvis e vários outros mitos da história da música mundial.

Sorry to disagree with you. There have been and always will be excellent performers without the need to compose their own songs. I disagree with your opinion, however. Gabriel Henrique will never need to be a composer to move those who listen to him with his talent. He is wonderfully talented.
