When Will the Rapture Happen? 

At the rapture, Jesus comes for his saints. At the second coming of Jesus, he will with his saints. I believe that the Bible says that He will come for us before the tribulation and come back to earth with us at His second coming. Peace

Once a person comes to understand the New Covenant promised to Israel and Judah in Jeremiah 31:31-34, which is found fulfilled by Christ during the first century in Hebrews 8:6-13, and Hebrews 10:16-18, and specifically applied to the Church in 2 Corinthians 3:6-8, and Hebrews 12:22-24, modern Dispensational Theology falls apart, and the pretrib removal of the Church falls with it. The Capitol "C" Church, as we use the word today, is not found in the entire Book of Revelation. Individual church bodies in ancient Asia Minor are found. In Revelation 12:11 we find those under the blood of the Lamb. A person cannot be under the blood of the Lamb and not be a part of the New Covenant Church of Jesus Christ. Verse 12 of this passage proves at least part of the tribulation period is the wrath of Satan upon the people of God. Rev 12:11 And they overcame him by the blood of the Lamb, and by the word of their testimony; and they loved not their lives unto the death. Rev 12:12 Therefore rejoice, ye heavens, and ye that dwell in them. Woe to the inhabiters of the earth and of the sea! for the devil is come down unto you, having great wrath, because he knoweth that he hath but a short time. "It may come as a surprise to most pre-Trib prophecy students that the post-Trib position (in its primitive form) is the oldest point of view." The quotation above is from the book "Will You Escape The Tribulation? RAPTURE [Under Attack]", by Tim LaHaye, copyright 1998, Page 197. The gathering of the Church is described at the end of 1 Thess. Chapter 4, and the timing of the event is found in chapter 5. The word “But” in the first verse of chapter 5 connects the two chapters, and the words “we” and “sleep” in verse 10 of chapter 5 prove the two chapters are connected.

However since most in the world will already be worshiping one proclaiming himself to be Jesus Christ (Satan), the appearance of the real Jesus Christ will be a moment quite different than most assume.... The church will be here on earth throughout the 42 months of great tribulation. Not true at all, and I'm happy to share why. God's Word is a beautiful book. Jesus gave us the examples of Noah and Lot in Matthew 24:36-44 and Luke 17:28-36 when describing the catching away . Noah was safe in a place built through the hand of God (the ark) and God closed him up in it safely, a full 7 days BEFORE the rains fell (Genesis 7:10 "And AFTER SEVEN DAYS the waters of the flood came upon the earth.") So he was placed by God somewhere for a time before the destruction, and apart from the destruction. What about Lot? What did the angel say to him, after forcing him to leave the city and go to a place of refuge? Genesis 19:21-22 "I will not overthrow the city of which you have spoken (The chosen refuge spot). Escape there quickly, for I CAN DO NOTHING TILL YOU ARRIVE THERE.” So the judgement could not happen until Lot and his family were safe in a place away from the destruction. (This also show that Lot's wife actually LEFT the safety of Zoar to flee BACK to Sodom, when she turned to salt) Ok, so we have Noah and Lot, what about us? Jesus said in John 14:2 "In my Father's house are many rooms. If it were not so, would I have told you that I go to prepare a place for you" What a great promise! But when will we need that dwelling place? For that answer, look at Isaiah 26:19-21 "Your dead shall live; their bodies shall rise. You who dwell in the dust, awake and sing for joy!...and the earth will give birth to the dead. Come, my people, ENTER YOUR CHAMBERS, and shut your doors behind you; hide yourselves for a little while until the fury has passed by. For behold, the Lord is coming out from his place to punish the inhabitants of the earth for their iniquity, and the earth will disclose the blood shed on it, and will no more cover its slain." So we clearly see the the resurrection happens FIRST, THEN God unleashes His fury at the earth's inhabitants. And just like Noah, God provides the place of refuge apart from the judgement! Revelation 3:10 "Because you have kept my word about patient endurance, I will keep you from the hour of trial that is coming on the whole world, to try those who dwell on the earth."

We will not go through the Great tribulation. We are going through present-day tribulation. People in India, China and the Middle East are getting killed every day for Jesus Christ of Nazareth. We in the west are being cancelled and minimized and it's going to get worse. Read your Bible

I was born into a legalistic religion of JW. I left when i was young and was rebelling against our blessed Father. I have only this year become a Christian and for long time up until recently believed in a post tribulation. I now believe otherwise because when it was described to me in great detail an overwhelming but healthy fear of our Lord washed over me. They have been so deceived into believing that there is either not a rapture, against scripture, or that the rapture is at the end of the tribulation, against the very words of Jesus Himself. He is coming but not when people expect. Christ descends and appears in the sixth seal. The bible states Christ will descend to raise the dead first. He descends from heaven then appears in the sixth seal not before. Wrath is mentioned in the sixth seal ( for the day of his wrath has come) present tense. True. The "RAPTURE" to heaven does not occur before the Great Tribulation, and the body of Christ has to go through it, (OR for those ''left behind'') there are some things that everyone must know. We must know "who we are", why we go through the Great Tribulation, our powers of protection, what we will be doing, and what ultimately happens to us. Please read through this - just in case the Pre-Tribulation Rapture does not occur. A "FAKE" RAPTURE: First, you need to know that a "Fake Rapture" will probably take place. It will be a conglomeration of New World Order stunts including holographic people ascending and disappearing into thin air (heaven) - or ascending to holographic UFOs, etc. This "Fake Rapture" will look absolutely real. You will believe this is the "RAPTURE"! Therefore, do not think you are "left behind" when you are not "taken". This is Satan's ploy to destroy your faith in God. Do not lose your faith. To understand who the TWO WITNESSES are, we simply have to find out who the Bible says Olive Trees are and who Lampstands are - and we have our answer. Most people already know who the Bible's Old Testament "Olive Tree" was. Israel was promised the privilege to be Kings and Priests, the priests and the Levites had the Job of keeping Israel clean ( Jer 11:16-17). However, when they forsook the worship of God and did not accept Jesus as their Messiah, the privilege went to the Jewish followers of Jesus; later, Jewish branches could be lopped off, and gentiles could be graphed in (Romans 11:13, 17-24). (Branches from the Wild Olive were to be grafted into the Garden Olive Tree.) Jewish / Gentile believers could now become the Bible's "Olive Tree". Please read 1Peter 2:9, 10. But, the TWO WITNESSES are two groups, the other group are called "candlesticks" or "lampstands" Are not the Churches of Jesus Christ pictured as the CANDLESTICKS / LAMPSTANDS? - Revelation 1:20. This Scripture says, "... and the 7 candlesticks which thou sawest are the 7 churches". Take that understanding of the Candlesticks to Revelation 11:3,4. Notice that the ''SACRED SECRET'' connects them both together (Rev. 1:20 with 10:7 and 11:15). Also Zechariah chapter 4 is important to take note of, because it shows the relationship between the Olive Trees and the Lampstands. It shows that the Olive Trees SUPPLY / FEED the Lampstands "olive oil" - so the Lampstands may burn - so they may be a "light to the world". Therefore, GOD'S PEOPLE ARE THE TWO WITNESSES! We are either members of the OLIVE TREES (144,000) or the LAMPSTANDS (Great Crowd). It is as simple as that. We are the TWO WITNESSES who have the responsibility of "witnessing for the 1260 days. Daniel 12:3,7 states this another way. In Daniel it says that, "those that be wise shall shine as the brightness of the firmament; and they that turn many to righteousness as the stars for ever and ever" - during the 1260 days (time, times, and a half). The "body of Christ" needs to know this, for we have to prepare ourselves to ''Witness'' (which, incidentally, during the 3,1/2 years (1260 days), it is said that the "Tribulation Saints" will be doing anyway, RIGHT???); we need to know we will be protected during the 3, 1/2 years (Revelation 11:5), that we will be performing miracles (as did Jesus disciples); we have to prepare ourselves to be martyred, then to stand on our feet (our resurrection), and to be called to Heaven, "Come on up here". (Rev. 11:5-12) '''''And we go up in a cloud'''''- at the '''''7th / the LAST TRUMP'''''. (Revelation 11:12,15) That sounds exactly like the ''RAPTURE'' Scriptures. Doesn't it? Duane Kent, your correct, the Great or 2nd Tribulation is written in biblical texts (starts with Revelation 9) and the Rapture is the doctrine and precepts of men conjured up during the Albury Circle and Powerscourt conferences (1830s)... They therefore are different and two separate matters entirely.

You are misquoting Titus 2:13. It doesn't say our Blessed Hope is to escape the wrath of God. "Hope" in the Bible is a 100% guaranteed thing. If you twist the Bible to say the Blessed Hope is being whisked away to heaven to escape 7 years of hell on earth, then millions upon millions of Christians never got that promise because they died long ago. God keeps His promises! You, me and every other Christian that ever lived (or will live) has the Blessed Hope already. It is the second appearing of Jesus described in Hebrews 9:28, where He appears "not to bear sin, but to bring salvation to those who are waiting for him." ALL Christians get this, not just some lucky generation who happens to be alive when God decides to "rapture" them. The Blessed Hope cannot be any rapture to heaven. Period. These churches are facing respective circumstances where our Lord gave warnings and rewards for overcoming something. Notice the Lord's call: "he who has an ear let him hear what the Spirit says to the churches" Why would our ears only listen to what the Spirit says on one church? Why disregard the other six? How sure are we that the other six messages do not apply to us? Is our hearing selective? Please read rev 3:9 jew pretenders are in the church which is called by the Lord as synagogue of Satan. In v10 those who are patient or persevered against these atrocities will be preserved by God. In v11 comes the reminder that Jesus will come. And the overcomers, like in any other churches, will receive a reward. QUESTION: what are you going to endure against the enemy when you're not there? Does that make any sense? Other interpretation used the word "escape". If it means getting out of the earth, how can you escape from something if the pre-tribulation doctrine says, you will not be here even before the tribulation starts? You will not be in the tribulation, so the "escape" is not applicable. When you escape a burning theater, means you're inside first and then God opens up escape routes for you. Please read v11 and v12, what have you overcome if you were not inside the burning theater? Why are you getting a reward by not enduring something? Is that fair to other churches? I hope you get what I'm trying to show you. It's not just one verse, it's the whole context to get the message of our Lord. Also, remember the famous "mystery" in 1 Cor 15:51-53? Please read the chapter from verse 1. And take note of verses 21-26 (related to rev 20 and 21). I don't think "the end" refers to the rapture. The rapture can happen at any time. The end will not happen until after the Gospel has been preached to all nations which happens during the tribulation as we see in Rev 14:6 "And I saw another angel fly in the midst of heaven, having the everlasting gospel to preach unto them that dwell on the earth, and to every nation, and kindred, and tongue, and people," It is interesting, but in the book of Acts we actually see that the Gospel was preached to every nation at that time. If you read Acts 2, starting at verse 5 which says "And there were dwelling at Jerusalem Jews, devout men, *out of every nation under heaven."* The apostles then go on to preach the Gospel speaking in tongues so every man could understand it in their own language.

There will be signs before Christ appears and gathers. The falling away, the revealing, great quake, cosmic disturbance, sun blacked etc. There is no pre tribulation rapture indicated in scripture. Christ descends and appears in the sixth seal not prior. When Christ descends from heaven the dead are raised first. Christ doesn't descend or appear before tribulation but after the distress and oppression that will come upon the word for all in Christ to be delivered out of. The six seals are not God's wrath. The multitude of all nations, kindreds, peoples, and tongues where around the throne before the opening of the seventh seal. There is no scripture but only speculation that Christ delivers before tribulation. Show one scripture that the gathering occurs before the interlude before the opening of the seventh seal. It's not there.

Do you see that the 144,000 are sealed between the 6th and 7th Seals? And then Rev 14:4 says they're with the Lamb wherever He goes. So when you get to the 5th Trumpet, it says the scorpion things aren't allowed to hurt the 144,000. That means Jesus is already here. He comes at the 6th Seal just as it's given to us.....(since the 7th Trumpet is when GOD comes 1,000 years after Jesus does).

He made it a spiritual meaning, not a physical. From living in the spirit we live our lives as God is...love. So, yes, we must help those that are in need, not because we feel we have to, but because it is the nature of God, and so to, it is our nature if indeed we are living by the spirit. They just will not let go of their bones ! it's like a puzzle they can't solve. I'm convinced of The Lord you are correct on the "Gathering" . the ones sealed by God on their foreheads are in Rev ch 7, and Ephraim is missing, that would be The Body of Christ/ The Church of The Living God. and I also really appreciate Rabbi Schneider, his teachings have added to my life In Christ and I'm thankful.

The Rapture will happen BEFORE the Tribulation! To state that the rapture happens after the Tribulation is easily disproved because it isn't scriptural. I'm a "pre tribber' thus far, til I see the Two Witnesses come down in Rev 11 :) There will be "tribulation saints" those who do not take the mark...and any other who comes to faith in Jesus alone during that time, who did not listen before it. Jesus taught most of the material we have about the rapture of the church. Nowhere did He mention anything about a parallel to the Old Testament captivity of Israel.
