Twitch was, of course, important to him, but I feel like he used it to soften the move. His first condition was that he keep his twitch. McMahon can't do that and tell everyone else they can't have theirs. He knew Vince would never agree to that. Especially for a guy Vince doesn't see as a main roster star.

There's a limit to my willing suspension of disbelief. This guy is about 170 soaking wet and we're sold that he's some sort of tough guy? I don't mind the evolution of smaller wrestlers having success IN THEIR WEIGHT CLASS. It would be much better if AEW categorized 2, or maybe 3, weight classes. I mean who, seriously, believes Adam Cole could REALLY beat a Keith Lee or Lance Archer in a REAL match/fight? I know it's scripted, but this guy's push just baffles me. He IS very talented, both in the ring and on the mic, but he's just too small to be a sellable "heavyweight" champion.....

AEW did 1.3 million viewers up 300k viewers from last week and the biggest thing here it beat Raw in the Key demo for the first time ever times are changing for the better and this segment as a whole peaked at just under 1.6 million viewers love to see it

@@shy2264 that was never the case. IMO there is no definite face for AEW. It is just a collective of Cody, Jericho, Mox The Elite and the rising new stars. Omega and Bucks are just temporary faces of the company as they are/were holding the titles/main events. They know the strain their body has taken through the years and must been going on their penultimate run now. They are at their later 30s damn it. Kenny for the past months has been wrestling with multitude of health issues. The OG Elite knows they will be remembered forever just for of the existence of AEW.

As much as I'd love to see Adam Cole as a babyface, I do not see it happening anytime soon. He keeps referring to Brit, and that's fine, but that also solidifies them as a "couple". The thing is I don't see Britt turning babyface anytime, so Adam mostly likely won't either.
