I recently hung out with a "friend" and she told my husband and me that she's in an open relationship! I know what she was trying to do, I'm not stupid. It seems like many people my age (I'm 24) think degenerate behaviors and ideas are okay
How do you correctly raise a daughter in this day and age? It feels like no matter what you do, social media will always have an overwhelming amount of degeneracy that has a high risk of influencing her. It's easy to say "don't let her have a phone" but it's not as simple as that.
As a 27 year old man about to start a family....this thought has kept me up at night several times. I've reconsidered having kids because of how people act these days
Bro that is so true! When she gets older, I'm sure she would demand a phone for that very reason. I think the best approach is, and I'm comparing this to most social media influencers, is to BE THERE for them and raise them with GOOD morals. If they know right from wrong right from the get-go, they are likely to choose the right things and take interest in the right things. That's just my thoughts, though.

Iv got an ex from when i was about 16 who has been contacting me off and on for 15 years about getting back together. Il go 2 years without hearing from her and then bang i get a DM or a friend is telling me she is looking for me and its always the same "I miss you, can we get back together" and its always after a relationship she is in has broken up.

I remember being with an ex and she never showed any sort of appreciation or consideration. When I was mobilized to work out in San Diego for about 8-9 months for a Covid-relief thing, I decided to visit her even though we weren't allowed to drive more than 25 miles from base. Drove to Pasadena to see her and when she got upset about something small, she told me to go back to San Diego. We broke-up shortly after and later she tried getting back with me to which I said no. Like Arako said, we value when our women shows consideration. That's a huge turn-on.
